Maahanmuuttajien määrä Suomessa on kasvanut räjähdysmäisesti sitten 1990-luvun. The goal of this study is to examine how the relatively new phenomenon of multilingualism in the Finnish education system is presently managed in foreign language classes in the Finnish comprehensive school. The focus is on how bi- and multilingual learners with migration background can benefit from their previous individual language experiences, language learning experiences and language awareness processes, and how these function as a resource for their further (foreign) language learning process. The present dissertation focuses on the fluency of second and foreign language (L2). Second and foreign language use is often assessed by its fluency. However, the connections between language proficiency and fluency are far from clear. The fluency reasearch has tried to establish these connections, but results are varied. In the current thesis, this question is explored within the theoretical framework of Norman Segalowitz’s division of three types of fluency: cognitive, utterance, and perceived fluency. Furthermore, international motivational research has focused more on ideal and ought-to selves, leaving the current L2 self-concept in the background. In the present study, we attempted to address this gap, exploring what shapes L1 (mother tongue) Finnish students' understanding of themselves as users and learners of L2s. Diplomatic and cultural ties between South Korea and Hungary were established more than 25 years ago. In 1988, the Department of Hungarian Studies was created at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Abstract Currently, intercultural and heterogeneous realities set the tone in 21st literary education. Therefore, the role of multicultural children's literature plays an essential role in order to reflect this intercultural diversity in Spanish classrooms. In this regard, The Other Side (2001) portrays an African American experience where interaction, communication and negotiation become crucial aspects for their protagonists. In this way, this picture book can be used not only to teach English as a foreign language in primary school, but also to show values like respect, tolerance and partnership.

Gli alunni stranieri non accompagnati costituiscono un universo eterogeneo che rappresenta una sfida per la governante dei processi formativi. Da qui la scelta di offrire uno spaccato sull'inserimento formativo dei MSNA nei contesti locali, attraverso una ricognizione delle rilevazioni svolte in realtà del Nord, Centro e Sud Italia. Unaccompanied foreign pupils constitute a heterogeneous universe which represents a challenge for the governing of educational processes. Hence the choice to offer an insight into the training insertion of MSNA in local contexts, through a survey of the surveys carried out in reality in Northern, Central and Southern Italy.
