This thesis aims to understand the phenomenon of social entrepreneurship and measure its component dimensions. In particular, the thesis addresses two research gaps in the social entrepreneurship research. The first gap addressed is the resource mobilization during marketing strategy development of a social enterprise in its start-up stage. Building a versatile portfolio of public and private digital-enabled services is vital in rural and sparsely populated regions, where traditional market mechanisms alone cannot guarantee the availability of essential services. Tutkielma esittelee lyhyesti myös XML-merkkauskielen ja sen tuomat edut dokumenttien tallentamiseen. Tiedostoformaattien esittely ja vertailu painottuu tekstidokumentteihin. Vertailun pohjana käytetään valmiita tutkimuksia ja tutkielman kirjoittajan omaa kokemusta kyseisten tiedostoformaattien tulkinnasta. Accounting in Identity Regulation : Producing the Appropriate Worker

It is acknowledged that identity regulation in organizations relies on discursive resources. This study moves beyond discourse – illustrating how discourse and accounting measurements are mobilized together in revising identity. Measurement produces persistence, clarity, transparency and comparability, as well as direction: Accounting’s quantitative knowledge ‘amplifies’ discourse. We explain the Great Alliance between words and numbers in a case study addressing events in an organization’s transformation. Interactive multiobjective optimization methods operate iteratively so that a decision maker directs the solution process by providing preference information, and only solutions of interest are generated. These methods limit the amount of information considered in each iteration and support the decision maker in learning about the trade-offs.
