Bakalaura darba mērķis ir pētīt 2021. gada administratīvi teritoriālās reformas pieņemšanas problemātiku, analizējot sagatavošanos reformai, tās pieņemšanu Saeimā, kā arī tās apstrīdēšanu Satversmes tiesā. Lai sasniegtu darba mērķi, autors pēta un analizē priekšnosacījumus iepriekšējās reformas turpināšanas nepieciešamībai, pašvaldību attieksmi pret jauno reformu, likumdošanas īpatnības reformas laikā, kā arī Satversmes tiesas atziņas un likumdevēja rīcību, nodrošinot Satversmes tiesas lēmumu izpildi. Bakalaura darba noslēgumā autors izvirza secinājumus par priekšnoteikumiem, kas nākotnē varētu atvieglot reformu pieņemšanas un īstenošanas procesu.

Tensions between the people and parliament over representation are a normal feature of representative democracies. In this paper, we demonstrate how digital humanities analysis tools help in answering questions about the timing of debates on popular representation, tensions over its realization, and representatives’ changing perceptions on their parliamentary role. Abstract C- and N-terminal sequences (64 amino acid residues each) of 89 non-classically secreted type I, type III and type IV proteins (Swiss-Prot/TrEMBL) from proteobacteria were transformed into predicted secondary structures. Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) confirmed the significance of location (C- or N-termini) and secretion type as essential factors in respect of quantitative representations of structured (a-helices, b-strands) and unstructured (coils) elements. A Completeness Proof for a Regular Predicate Logic with Undefined Truth Value

We provide a sound and complete proof system for an extension of Kleene's ternary logic to predicates. The concept of theory is extended with, for each function symbol, a formula that specifies when the function is defined. The notion of "is defined" is extended to terms and formulas via a straightforward recursive algorithm. The "is defined" formulas are constructed so that they themselves are always defined. The completeness proof relies on the Henkin construction. For each formula, precisely one of the formula, its negation, and the negation of its "is defined" formula is true on the constructed model. The territorial presentation of performance: the sustainability reports in automotive and aerial transport industries in Asia and EuropaThis research studies the sustainability reports of 18 automobile constructors and airlines companies for 2011. The study aims at identifying the objectives pursued by these firms and analyzing both similarities and differences. Introducing the concept of territory, we propose to consider sustainability reports as tools for a story-telling that would reconcile the social and the economic dimensions of the firms.
