Assessment of learning or assessment for learning : lukio-opiskelijoiden näkemyksiä kemian opetuksen arvioinnista

Tämän pro-gradu tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää lukio-opiskelijoiden näkemyksiä kemian opetuksen arvioinnista. Tavoitteena oli selvittää, miten arviointi vaikuttaa opiskelijoiden opiskelukäyttäytymiseen, motivaatioon, oppimiseen ja tunteisiin. Lisäksi selvitettiin, millaista arviointia kemian tunneilla on käytetty, ja mikä on opiskelijoiden mielestä arvioinnin tarkoitus. Tutkimus toteutettiin haastattelututkimuksena kahdeksalle lukio-opiskelijalle. Tutkielman kirjallisessa osassa käsiteltiin arviointia, sen menetelmiä ja motivaatiota. Tempting to Tag : An Experimental Comparison of Four Tagging Input Mechanisms

Tagging helps achieve improved indexing and recommendation of resources (e.g., videos or pictures) in large data collections. In order to reap the benefits of tagging, people must be persuaded to label the resources they consume. This paper reports on a study in which four different tagging input mechanisms and their effect on users’ motivation to tag were compared. The mechanisms consisted of a standard tag input box, a chatbot-like environment, a bookmarking mechanism, and a “tag and vote” game. Design and Performance Evaluation of a High Power-Density EMI Filter for PWM Inverter-Fed Induction-Motor Drives

This paper presents the design of an electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter for a low-voltage high-current induction-motor drives supplied by dc power grids. In order to effectively design the EMI filter, a suitable common-mode/differential-mode (CM/DM) separation technique has been used. Due to the high operating currents, the software-based separation technique using time-domain measurements has been applied. The proposed technique allows the CM and DM sections of the EMI filter to be properly selected in a more economical way, i.e., without the need of a dedicated hardware or costly radio frequency (RF) instrumentation.
