Frames and representing systems in Fréchet spaces and their duals
2014
[EN] Frames and Bessel sequences in Fr\'echet spaces and their duals are defined and studied. Their relation with Schauder frames and representing systems is analyzed. The abstract results presented here, when applied to concrete spaces of analytic functions, give many examples and consequences about sampling sets and Dirichlet series expansions.
Some new results on integration for multifunction

It has been proven in previous papers that each Henstock-Kurzweil-Pettis integrable multifunction with weakly compact values can be represented as a sum of one of its selections and a Pettis integrable multifunction. We prove here that if the initial multifunction is also Bochner measurable and has absolutely continuous variational measure of its integral, then it is a sum of a strongly measurable selection and of a variationally Henstock integrable multifunction that is also Birkhoff integrable.

Approximations of positive operators and continuity of the spectral radius III

AbstractWe prove estimates on the speed of convergence of the ‘peripheral eigenvalues’ (and principal eigenvectors) of a sequence Tn of positive operators on a Banach lattice E to the peripheral eigenvalues of its limit operator T on E which is positive, irreducible and such that the spectral radius r(T) of T is a Riesz point of the spectrum of T (that is, a pole of the resolvent of T with a residuum of finite rank) under some conditions on the kind of approximation of Tn to T. These results sharpen results of convergence obtained by the authors in previous papers.
Some representation theorems for sesquilinear forms

The possibility of getting a Radon-Nikodym type theorem and a Lebesgue-like decomposition for a non necessarily positive sesquilinear $\Omega$ form defined on a vector space $\mathcal D$, with respect to a given positive form $\Theta$ defined on $\D$, is explored. The main result consists in showing that a sesquilinear form $\Omega$ is $\Theta$-regular, in the sense that it has a Radon-Nikodym type representation, if and only if it satisfies a sort Cauchy-Schwarz inequality whose right hand side is implemented by a positive sesquilinear form which is $\Theta$-absolutely continuous. Indecomposable sets of finite perimeter in doubling metric measure spaces

We study a measure-theoretic notion of connectedness for sets of finite perimeter in the setting of doubling metric measure spaces supporting a weak $(1,1)$-Poincar\'{e} inequality. The two main results we obtain are a decomposition theorem into indecomposable sets and a characterisation of extreme points in the space of BV functions. In both cases, the proof we propose requires an additional assumption on the space, which is called isotropicity and concerns the Hausdorff-type representation of the perimeter measure.

The spectral mapping theorems for Browder spectrum and for semi-Browder spectra have been proved by several authors [14], [29] and [33], by using different methods. We shall employ a local spectral argument to establish these spectral mapping theorems, as well as, the spectral mapping theorem relative to some other classical spectra. The widespread interest on the hereditary behavior of biological and bioinspired materials motivates deeper studies on their macroscopic ``minimal" state. The resulting integral equations for the detected relaxation and creep power-laws, of exponent $\beta$, are characterized by fractional operators. Here strains in $SBV_{loc}$ are considered to account for time-like jumps. Consistently, starting from stresses in $L_{loc}^{r}$, $r\in [1,\beta^{-1}], \, \, \beta\in(0,1)$ we reconstruct the corresponding strain by extending a result in [42]. Superstable cycles for antiferromagnetic Q-state Potts and three-site interaction Ising models on recursive lattices

We consider the superstable cycles of the Q-state Potts (QSP) and the three-site interaction antiferromagnetic Ising (TSAI) models on recursive lattices. The rational mappings describing the models' statistical properties are obtained via the recurrence relation technique. We provide analytical solutions for the superstable cycles of the second order for both models. A particular attention is devoted to the period three window. Here we present an exact result for the third order superstable orbit for the QSP and a numerical solution for the TSAI model.
