Abstract There is a large gap in knowledge regarding research on post-exercise blood changes in disabled athletes. There are relatively few data on adaptive mechanisms to exercise in disabled athletes, including disabled rowers. Two rowers from a Polish adaptive rowing settle TAMix2x that qualified for the Paralympic Games in Rio, 2016 took part in this study. They performed a progressive test on a rowing ergometer until exhaustion. The cardiorespiratory fitness measures, complete blood count, white blood cells’ distribution and 30 clinical chemistry variables describing laboratory diagnostic profiles and general health were determined. To date, drugs released into the aquatic environment are a real problem, and among antibiotics, sulfamethoxazole is the one most widely found in wastewater; thus, the evaluation of its toxicity on marine organisms is very important. This study, for the first time, investigates the in vitro effects of 4 concentrations of sulfamethoxazole (0.05 mg/L, 0.5 mg/L, 5 mg/L, 50 mg/L) on the fertilization and development of the sea urchin Arbacia lixula. The gametes were exposed to drugs in three different stages: simultaneously with, prior to, and post-fertilization. Jednokierunkowość i niedokładność stosowanych modeli edukacyjnych jest jednym z motywów poszukiwania alternatywnych sposobów kształcenia. Zachodzące zmiany w sposobie myślenia o edukacji ewoluują w kierunku tworzenia modelu obejmującego jak najwięcej aspektów edukacyjnych. Jednym z nich jest wzbogacenie sposobów kształcenia o rozwój myślenia lateralnego. W artykule zaprezentowano ćwiczenia rozwijające intelekt, opracowane na podstawie publikacji Edwarda de Bono pt. Umyśl kreatywny- opisane ćwiczenia pozwolą na wzbogacenie warsztatu pedagoga.
