Recent exhibitions produced by the Foundation <i>La Luz de las Imágenes</i> in Valencian dioceses has allowed for numerous works of art to be seen, admired and studied under optimal conditions. In this context we offer an approach to the workshop of the Requena family, painters active in the Kingdom of Valencia between approximately 1531 and 1605. Wilde’s story “The Portrait of Mr. W.H.” blurs literary genres, asserts the importance of the false and plays with reader expectations. It has generated a substantial exege- sis, perhaps lacking in interest in the multi-faceted debates on belief running through the 1870s-1880s. Wilde takes part in that debate through a text of uncertain status and complex editorial history, contrasting Newmanian assent with W.K. Clifford’s ethics of belief (1877), before asserting the supremacy of desire, thus ruining all assent and epistemically justified belief. El presente artículo analiza el desarrollo de la industria vidriera valenciana entre los siglos XIII y XV. Para ello se recurre a un centenar de documentos de carácter notarial, normativo, judicial y fiscal, procedentes de distintos archivos valencianos. Estos permiten estudiar la localización de los hornos de vidrio en el reino de Valencia y las formas de trabajo de los vidrieros, así como los procesos de distribución y los sistemas de venta del vidrio doméstico. Finalmente, se aborda la demanda y el consumo de estos bienes y sus usos en las viviendas de diferentes sectores sociales de la época. The disease can persist even after treatment with antibiotics, which is why other methods of treatment are needed. Users access to Google to find out about health issues is frequent among citizens. This research analyzes the best results of three generic searches on homeopathy, collected in four waves in five countries: Spain, France, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Specifically, the fluctuation of the corpus ranking is studied, and a sample of the ten best-positioned pages in each country is taken to analyze their content (the authorship of the website, the stance of the effectiveness of homeopathy, the presence of controversy and the type of content). Los castillos eran la espina dorsal del sistema defensivo del reino de Valencia, así como de todos los estados feudales. A través del análisis de la contabilidad de un libro de obras relativo al castillo de Sagunt analizamos el papel de los castillos valencianos en la defensa del territorio y su importancia en la creación de tejido económico y en la movilización de mano de obra. El volumen es especialmente interesante porque también refleja el abastecimiento alimentario y la compra de armamento. Además, las cuentas analizadas se realizaron durante la Guerra de Castilla (1356-1375) uno de los momentos claves de la historia de la Corona de Aragón.
Children's exploration of the concepts of home and belonging: Capturing views from five European countries.

Understanding one's sense of belonging is a central part of identity formation and self-awareness; feeling safe somewhere, with specific people is identified as a basic human need. This paper explores the ideas of children from three age groups in five different European as they discussed the concepts of ‘home’ and ‘belonging’. Findings showed that the children's ideas could be organised into six interrelated aspects: Spatiality, Materiality, Multiplicity, Social Relations, Affect, and Dislocation.
