It is common practice to assume full blending of the aged binder of reclaimed asphalt (RA) within the design of new asphalt mixtures. Although being practical, this assumption has often led designers to asphalt mixtures lacking binder. Hence, going towards recycled asphalt mixtures (RAM) there is a need to have a better understanding of the blending phenomena, to have a general agreement on terminology and finally adapting RA classification and mix design procedures accordingly. In particolare l'Autore ricostruisce: il tema generale e transnazionale della responsabilità giudiziale; la via referendaria già battuta in materia di responsabilità giudiziale; i termini del quesito referendario e La diffusa risposta negativa sull’ammissibilità del quesito da parte della Corte Costituzionale. Electronic correspondence is a highly dynamic genre within the business world in which Register Variation (RV) is frequently used as a tool to improve communication but it often can lead to misunderstanding. In order to shed some light on this still unexplored area, the present study firstly offers a practical approach to classify and analyse RV within professional communication. Background: Population studies gathering measured data on fitness and physical behavior, covering physical activity, standing, sedentary behavior, and time in bed, are scarce. This article describes the protocol of the FINFIT 2021 study that measures fitness and physical behavior in a population-based sample of adults and analyzes their associations and dose–response relationships with several health indicators. Methods: The study comprises a stratified random sample of 20–69-year-old men and women (n = 16,500) from seven city-centered regions in Finland. Multi-modal non-rigid registration of medical images based on mutual information maximization

In this paper, a new multi-modal non-rigid registration technique for medical images is presented. Firstly, the registration problem is outlined and some of the most common approaches reported, then, the proposed algorithm is presented. The proposed technique is based on mutual information maximization and computes a deformation field through a suitable globally smoothed affine piecewise transformation. The algorithm has been conceived with particular attention to computational load and accuracy of results. Experimental results involving intra-patient, inter-patients and atlas images on brain CT and MR (T1, T2 and PD modalities) are reported.

As burial registers corresponding to a fully excavated funeral assemblage are rather rare, the present study endeavours toexamine both wrritten data and bone remains from a chape frequented during the 17th and 18th centuries. The disparity between thepopulatiom described by the two types of sources, particularly concerning the proportions of children in each, would encourage us toreconsider wiith caution the evaluation of burial groups based on bone assemblages which are not informed by written sources. Analysisof the latter will allow us to evaluate more accurately just how representative the archaeological evidence is with respect to the overalloccupation of a given site.
