From the cell membranes of the sponge Geodia cydonium a component was isolated and purified which inhibits the aggregation factor isolated from the same source; the component was termed anti-aggregation receptor. This molecule was characterized as a glycoprotein (54% neutral carbohydrate) and its molecular weight is in the range of 180,000 One biological site of the anti-aggregation receptor was determined to be D-galactose. Indirect evidence presented seems to indicate that this molecule is present in an active form in aggregation-deficient cells and absent in aggregation-susceptible cells.

The small heat shock protein (smHsp) Lo18 from lactic acid bacteria Oenococcus oeni reduces in vitro thermal aggregation of proteins and modulates the membrane fluidity of native liposomes. An absence of information relating to the way in which the smHsp demonstrates a stabilizing effect for both proteins and membranes prompted this study. We expressed three Lo18 proteins with amino acid substitutions in Escherichia coli to investigate their ability to prevent E. coli protein aggregation and their capacity to stabilize E. coli whole-cell membranes. The structure of aggregates of a new bolaform surfactant [α-ω (4,7,10,13-pentaoxa-16-azacyclooctadecane) hexadecane] in neat aqueous solution has been investigated by small-angle neutron scattering. Preliminary data analysis unequivocally indicates that globular micelles are formed. This finding has been confirmed by the analysis of data obtained upon addition of hydrochloric acid. The observed significant reduction of micelle aggregation number has been attributed to the peculiar complexing ability of the two aza-crown ether units in the surfactant molecule; this is in line with information inferred from the complexation of ions into the non alkylated azacrown ethers. Idee reformy cecyliańskiej znalazły podatny grunt w Drogosławiu, gdzie w 1911 roku wybudowano kościół filialny ku czci św. Barbary. Dzięki działalności kantora i organisty Bruno Kiefela (1877–1955) po raz pierwszy w hrabstwie kłodzkim wprowadzono tu śpiew chorałowy z udziałem wiernych. Kiefel zasłynął też jako wirtuoz organowy i kompozytor. Na potrzeby utworzonego przez siebie w 1911 roku chóru kościelnego napisał kilkadziesiąt utworów, które cieszyły się dużą popularnością w regionie. Moreover, the data rate of the sampled signals, defined primary by the signal bandwidth of the individual detectors, may not exhaust the capabilities of a single FPGA transceiver input. This article intends to illustrate the very recent Italian experience on the fiduciary contract, as a tool capable of realizing a patrimonial segregation, different from trust. The contract of fiduciary, which in 2010 was expressly regulated by a law of San Marino, is not yet regulated by any Italian law, even if the project of reform of the civil code provides that the legislator should dictate its own discipline. The fact that it is not expressly regulated does not exclude that the instrument has already been successful.
