In questo articolo vengono analizzate le risposte fornite a un interessante item relativo alla Prova standardizzata di matematica somministrata nel maggio 2015 a tutti gli allievi di quinta elementare del Canton Ticino. A partire dai risultati statistici emersi da un campione di 508 protocolli selezionati, viene presentata un’analisi qualitativa effettuata su un campione più ristretto di 174 studenti di prima media, allo scopo di rintracciare le cause delle difficoltà emerse nella risoluzione. Da questa analisi si rileva come le risposte sbagliate di diversi studenti siano legate a difficoltà nella comprensione del testo dell’item, in particolare a difficoltà di interpretazione linguistica.…

Photographic exhibitions are organized today "outdoor"; I study the "non-public" (Ancel & Pessin, 2004): the absents. What are the factors hindering the encounter with the works despite their urban exposure? The article attempts to study the performances of culture that are forged by the respondents (migrants from the lower classes) during outings organized by community centers or municipal associations. Students’ Experiences of Reflective Writing as a Tool for Learning in Physiotherapy Education

The purpose of this study was to examine physiotherapy students’ experiences of reflective writing. The students (n = 32) were asked to video record their practical activities at school and at workplaces, and to write reflective journals on their experiences. The research data about students’ experiences of reflective writing were collected by interviewing the students. The data were analyzed phenomenographically. The findings revealed four qualitatively different experiences of reflective writing: 1) writing as a useless task; 2) writing as a tool for deepening understanding; 3) writing as a tool for self-reflection; and 4) writing as a tool for professional development.
