Harmonic priming studies have reported facilitated processing for chords that are harmonically related to the prime context. Responses to the target (the last chord of an 8-chord sequence) were faster and more accurate when the target was strongly related, i.e., a tonic chord, to the preceding prime context than when it was less related, i.e., a subdominant chord. Published online: 02 November 2017 Is the specific consonant–vowel (CV) letter combination of a word a basic source of information for lexical access in the early stages of processing? We designed two masked priming lexical decision experiments to respond to this question by directly examining the role of CV skeletal structure in written-word recognition. Se describe el proceso de diseño y validación del instrumento de evaluación de la colegialidad docente en su fase de validación lógica (validación de constructo) mediante el juicio de expertos a través de una metodología mixta (cuantitativa y cualitativa). El instrumento, que forma parte del modelo de evaluación para la cohesión social (Jornet, 2012), ha sido diseñado y validado en España, y posteriormente se llevó a cabo el proceso de adaptación en México. The Stabilizing Role of Government Size

This paper presents an analysis of how alternative models of the business cycle can replicate the stylized fact that large governments are associated with less volatile economies. Our analysis shows that adding nominal rigidities and costs of capital adjustment to an otherwise standard RBC model can generate a negative correlation between government size and the volatility of output. However, in the model, we find that the stabilizing effect is only due to a composition effect and it is not present when we look at the volatility of private output.
