Persistence or Change in Leisure-Time Physical Activity Habits and Waist Gain During Early Adulthood: A Twin-Study

Objective To determine the relationship between persistence or change in leisure‐time physical activity habits and waist gain among young adults. Methods Population‐based cohort study among 3383 Finnish twin individuals (1578 men) from five birth cohorts (1975‐1979), who answered questionnaires at mean ages of 24.4 y (SD 0.9) and 33.9 y (SD 1.2), with reported self‐measured waist circumference. Persistence or change in leisure‐time physical activity habits was defined based on thirds of activity metabolic equivalent h/day during follow‐up (mean 9.5 y; SD 0.7). Many European families are affected by the 24/7 economy, but relatively little is known about how working parents experience nonstandard hours. The aim of this study was to analyze the possible associations of dual earners’ work schedules and other work-related factors with their experience of time- and strain-based work–family conflict. These phenomena were examined among dual earners living in Finland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, countries that differ in working time practices and policies. Handel ludźmi to problem z jakim zmierzyć się muszą wszystkie kraje dbające o bezpieczeństwo swoich obywateli. Obowiązkiem państwa jest zapewnienie bezpieczeństwa swoim obywatelom, również jeśli chodzi o handel ludźmi. Autorka niniejszego artykuł zadaje pytanie, czy nasze państwo zapewnia poczucie bezpieczeństwa obywatelom w zakresie handlu ludźmi oraz czy organy państwa stworzyły system przeciwdziałania i zwalczania tego zjawiska, oparty na instytucjach organów administracji państwowej, jednostkach samorząduterytorialnego, organachściganiaiwymiarzesprawiedliwościoraz organizacjach pozarządowych, zapobiegający handlowi ludźmi.
Elektromagnētiski ierosinātas šķidrā metāla plūsmas izpēte alumīnija transportam un degazēšanai lineārā kanālā

Šobrīd alumīnija degazācija tiek veikta, izmantojot ātri rotējošus keramikas uzgaļus, kas kausējumā ievada mazus inertas gāzes burbuļus. Metodes galvenā problēma ir uzgaļu erozija un nepieciešamība tos bieži mainīt. Tādēļ šajā darbā tiek analizēta jauna, elektromagnētiska, bezkontakta metode šķidrā metāla plūsmas ierosināšanai. Plūsmu taisnstūrveida, lineārā kanālā ierosina ar rotējošu pastāvīgo magnētu dipolu, kas novietots tuvu kanāla sienai. Veikti kārtas novērtējumi, izveidota eksperimentālā iekārta modeļa verifikācijai un veikta tehnoloģijas mērogošana, kas apstiprina, ka tehnoloģija ir perspektīva gan alumīnija degazācijai, gan transportam.
