Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts ar mērķi analizēt Kurzemes un Zemgales hercogistes vēstures atspoguļojumu latviešu historiogrāfijā un apzināt vērtējumu galvenās tendences. Darbs veidots, ievērojot hronoloģiskos atskaites punktus, sākot ar hercogistes izveidošanos 1561.gadā un beidzot ar hercogistes inkorporāciju Krievijas impērijā 1795.gadā, atsevišķas nodaļas veltot galvenajai problēmai visā hercogistes pastāvēšanas laikā, proti hercogu cīņai ar muižniecību par varu un hercogu cīņai par dinastijas saglabāšanu un hercogistes pastāvēšanu. Baudemont, le Pré-de-la-Bordonne (Saône-et-Loire) : sépultures et mobilier danubien de la première moitie du ve siècle

A necropolis at Baudemont (Saône-et-Loire) that was partially excavated in 1894 has revealed approximately fifteen graves datable to the end of the 4th and 5th centuries ad. Others seem to have been emptied during the first half of the 19th century. The discovery of a negative of the objects collected in 1894 indicates the pieces originating in the danubian area, which probably reflects the presence of a group of eastern Germans among those buried in the necropolis. These discoveries offer new perspectives on the Gallic context during the 5th century.

International audience; This paper presents the results of a multi-disciplinary provenance study of querns and millstones during the Roman period (1st-4th century CE) in the northern part of the Roman Empire (provinces of Gallia Belgica and Germania Inferior). Comparative petrographical, mineralogical and geochemical analysis allowed an international team of archaeologists and geologists to identify the different raw materials used for the manufacturing of querns and millstones. Diese Arbeit ist ein vollständiges Studium der Metallfunde aus den zwei Handwerkervierteln von Bliesbruck (Moselle, Frankreich). Diese Funde stammen aus vierzigjahrelangen Ausgrabungen. Das Korpus besteht aus 450 Kg Metall (Eisen, Kupferlegierungen, weisse Metalle, Gold) wovon 4 200 Objekte und 22 000 Nägel. Eine Objekt- und Funktionsidentifizierung und eine typologische Nägelzahl haben es ermöglicht, die Objektverbindungen wieder zusammenzusetzen und die Daten nach verschiedenen Kriterien einander gegenüberzustellen : Metall, Lage (Viertel und Grundstück), Chronologie und Befundnummertyp. Caesarin Gallian sota -teos toi aikalaistensa tietoisuuteen sen ajan mittapuun mukaan valtavan maa-alueen asukkaineen ja maantieteellisine nimistöineen, mikä tekeekin siitä erinomaisen lähteen nimistön tutkimukseen. Tutkimuksessani kartoitan Gallian sota -teoksessa esiintyvät Gallia Transalpinan heimonimet, paikkakunnan nimet, vesistöjen nimet ja muut maantieteelliset nimet, sekä tutkin näiden nimien säilyvyyttä nykynimistössä ja tekstikriittisesti epävarmojen nimien esiintyvyyttä. Caesar mainitsee Gallia Transalpinan alueelta 94 heimoa, 32 paikkakuntaa, 13 vesistöä ja kuusi muuta maantieteellistä nimeä.
