Absolute continuity of mappings with finite geometric distortion

Suppose that ⊂ R n is a domain with n ≥ 2. We show that a continuous, sense-preserving, open and discrete mapping of finite geometric outer distortion with KO(·,f) ∈ L 1/(n 1) loc () is absolutely continuous on almost every line parallel to the coordinate axes. Moreover, if U ⊂ is an open set with N(f,U) 0 depends only on n and on the maximum multiplicity N(f,U).

ON A PERMUTABILITY PROPERTY OF SUBGROUPS OF FINITE SOLUBLE GROUPS

The structure and embedding of subgroups permuting with the system normalizers of a finite soluble group are studied in the paper. It is also proved that the class of all finite soluble groups in which every subnormal subgroup permutes with the Sylow subgroups is properly contained in the class of all soluble groups whose subnormal subgroups permute with the system normalizers while this latter is properly contained in the class of all supersoluble groups.

Fixed points in weak non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces

Mihet [Fuzzy $\psi$-contractive mappings in non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 159 (2008) 739-744] proved a theorem which assures the existence of a fixed point for fuzzy $\psi$-contractive mappings in the framework of complete non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces. Motivated by this, we introduce a notion of weak non-Archimedean fuzzy metric space and prove that the weak non-Archimedean fuzzy metric induces a Hausdorff topology. We utilize this new notion to obtain some common fixed point results for a pair of generalized contractive type mappings.

The Equationally-Defined Commutator in Quasivarieties Generated by Two-Element Algebras

The notion of the equationally-defined commutator was introduced and thoroughly investigated in (Czelakowski, 2015). In this work the properties of the equationally-defined commutator in quasivarieties generated by two-element algebras are examined. It is proved: If a quasivariety Q is generated by a finite set of two-element algebras, then the equationally-defined commutator of Q is additive (Theorem 3.1) Moreover it satisfies the associativity law (Theorem 3.6). Existence, uniqueness and comparison results for BSDEs with Lévy jumps in an extended monotonic generator setting

We show existence of a unique solution and a comparison theorem for a one-dimensional backward stochastic differential equation with jumps that emerge from a L\'evy process. The considered generators obey a time-dependent extended monotonicity condition in the y-variable and have linear time-dependent growth. Within this setting, the results generalize those of Royer (2006), Yin and Mao (2008) and, in the $L^2$-case with linear growth, those of Kruse and Popier (2016). Variational differential inclusions without ellipticity condition

The paper sets forth a new type of variational problem without any ellipticity or monotonicity condition. A prototype is a differential inclusion whose driving operator is the competing weighted $(p,q)$-Laplacian $-\Delta_p u+\mu\Delta_q u$ with $\mu\in \mathbb{R}$.
