Abstract Background Air pollution from vehicular traffic has been associated with respiratory diseases. In Palermo, the largest metropolitan area in Sicily, urban air pollution is mainly addressed to traffic-related pollution because of lack of industrial settlements, and the presence of a temperate climate that contribute to the limited use of domestic heating plants. Acute coronary syndrome is a factor for poor prognosis and recurrent cardiovascular events. Adequate antiplatelet therapy is crucial in patients with the acute coronary syndrome for risk reduction. Such treatment is well described in four documents issued by the European Society of Cardiology, which precisely illustrate the use of antiplatelets in the settings of ST-elevated and non-ST elevated myocardial infarction. Abstract Background Jumping to conclusions (JTC) is a well-established reasoning and data gathering bias found in patients with psychosis even at illness onset (First Episode Psychosis, FEP).
