Background In Argentina, HIV prevalence among transgender women (TGW) has been reported at 34%. The stigma is one of the most important factors limiting their access to healthcare services. Investigation of superspreading COVID-19 outbreak events in meat and poultry processing plants in Germany: A cross-sectional study.

Since May 2020, several COVID-19 outbreaks have occurred in the German meat industry despite various protective measures, and temperature and ventilation conditions were considered as possible high-risk factors. This cross-sectional study examined meat and poultry plants to examine possible risk factors. Companies completed a self-administered questionnaire on the work environment and protective measures taken to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection. Bayesian hierarchical nonlinear modelling of intra-abdominal volume during pneumoperitoneum for laparoscopic surgery

Laparoscopy is an operation carried out in the abdomen or pelvis through small incisions with external visual control by a camera. This technique needs the abdomen to be insufflated with carbon dioxide to obtain a working space for surgical instruments' manipulation. Identifying the critical point at which insufflation should be limited is crucial to maximizing surgical working space and minimizing injurious effects. Bayesian nonlinear growth mixed-effects models are applied to data coming from a repeated measures design. This study allows to assess the relationship between the insufflation pressure and the intra--abdominal volume.

Dès la mise en service de la ligne TGV Sud-Est, au début des années 80, la Bourgogne a bénéficié de la création de deux nouvelles gares TGV, aménagées en périphérie des pôles urbains du Creusot et de Mâcon. Malgré leurs fonctions réduites, ces nouvelles gares périurbaines ont suscité d’ambitieux projets d’aménagement. De nouvelles zones d’activités ont ainsi vu le jour à proximité de ces gares. Background: Analyses from the JyvaskylaLongitudinal Study of Dyslexia project show that the key childhood predictors (phonological awareness, short-term memory, rapid naming, expressive vocabu- lary, pseudoword repetition, and letter naming) of dyslexia differentiate the group with reading disability (n ¼ 46) and the group without reading problems (n ¼ 152) at the end of the 2nd grade. This article presents the biography and intellectual legacy of Valencian sociologist Rafael L. Ninyoles (1943- 2019). It reviews his formative itinerary, his early contributions to the field of the sociology of language, his latest contributions to the sociology of cities and cultural spaces, and his key involvement in the promoti-on and consolidation of the sociological study of Valencian society. The article includes a note on public acknowledgements to the author, plus an annex with a selective bibliography aimed at serving the interested reader and the posthumous diffusion of Ninyoles? oeuvre.
I regolamenti comunitari in materia di regimi patrimoniali tra coniugi e unioni registrate ed il loro impatto nella normativa nazionale
Il 24 giugno 2016 il Consiglio dell'Unione Europea ha adottato due regolamenti che attuano la cooperazione rafforzata nel settore della competenza, della legge applicabile, del riconoscimento e dell'esecuzione delle decisioni, rispettivamente, in materia di regimi patrimoniali tra coniugi e di effetti patrimoniali delle unioni registrate (reg. UE n. 1103/2016 e n. 1104/2016). Obiettivo della presente ricerca è quello di effettuare una prima valutazione in ordine all'impatto dei predetti regolamenti rispetto alla normativa vigente nel nostro ordinamento, sia di diritto internazionale privato che di diritto sostanziale.
