La ciencia ficción y la enseñanza de las ciencias

Este trabajo constituye una primera aproximación a la ciencia en la ciencia ficción desde el punto de vista del alumnado y qué posibilidades ofrece como recurso didáctico. Sondeamos, por tanto, si los alumnos conocen y han visto cine de ciencia ficción, así como si este factor influye en sus actitudes hacia la ciencia y los científicos y su opinión sobre las consecuencias de los avances científicos en el futuro. Asimismo, nos planteamos si los estudiantes perciben las visiones deformadas de la ciencia y los científicos que transmite el cine de ciencia ficción. Pretendemos, asimismo, estudiar si se utiliza la ciencia ficción como recurso didáctico.

Environmental exposure to pesticides during the early stages of development represents an important risk factor for the onset of neurodegenerative diseases in adult age. Neonatal exposure to Permethrin (PERM), a member of the family of synthetic pyrethroids, can induce a Parkinson-like disease and cause some alterations in striatum of rats, involving both genetic and epigenetic pathways. Through gene expression analysis and global DNA methylation assessment in both PERM-treated parents and their untreated offspring, we investigated on the prospective intergenerational effect of this pesticide. Examining how global citizenship education is prefigured in the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence

This study uses the Aristotelian notion of phronesis as a critical lens for examining how global citizenship education is prefigured in the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. Based on a content analysis of key curriculum documentation, the findings outline the way in which techne and episteme with their associated ways of knowing and acting dominate the curriculum. Nevertheless, the hints of phronesis indicate the potential for developing a more critical form of global citizenship education that prefigures praxis that wisely pursues that which is good for humankind and individual flourishing. Pielietojot salīdzināšanas metodi, ir izpētīta lielāko piena un piena produktu eksportētājvalstu eksporta plūsma, piena ražošanas un pārtsrādes daudzums Baltijas valstīs un Latvijas piena nozarē. Darba izpētes objekts ir globalizācija, pasaules piena tirgus, Baltijas valstu piena ražošanas nozare un Latvijas piena ražošanas nozare. Mērķis ir, izpētot ar globalizāciju, pasaules piena tirgu, Baltijas valstu piena ražošanas nozari saistīto literatūru, noskaidrot kādi ir ekonomiskie aspekti piena nozarē, kurus ietekmē globalizācija. Darba uzdevumi saistīti ar teorētiskās bāzes izpēti, nepieciešamās informācijas apkopošanu un apstrādāšanu, secinājumu un priekšlikumu izstrādi.

Thomas Pogge, partiendo de la obra de John Rawls y de su concepción de justicia doméstica, elabora una concepción cosmopolita de la justicia dotándola de un alcance global. A lo largo de su obra insiste en el peso que tienen las normas y los factores institucionales a la hora de modelar de forma sustancial las condiciones de vida de los individuos, tanto por lo que establecen como por lo que permiten y generan. Es defensor, y así trata de argumentarlo a lo largo de su trabajo, del análisis moral institucional aplicado directamente a la esfera internacional.
