Latvijas politisko partiju finansēšanas modelis-pārvaldības uzlabošanas instruments

Maģistra darbā ir analizēts politisko (organizāciju) partiju finansēšanas modelis un tā ietekme uz pārvaldību Latvijā. Darba gaitā tika identificētas politisko partiju finansējuma nepilnības un trūkumi. Saskaņā ar maģistra darba mērķi, tika aplūkoti dažādi politisko partiju finansēšanas modeļa elementi un izstrādāti ieteikumi atbildīgajām institūcijām politisko organizāciju (partiju) modeļa pilnveidošanai. Darbam ir 102 lappuses, tas sastāv no ievada, 3 nodaļām, secinājumiem un priekšlikumiem, 54 bibliogrāfiskiem avotiem latviešu, angļu un vācu valodās. Papildus tam darbā ir iekļautas 5 tabulas un 3 pielikumi.
Heterogeneity in family firms: contextualising the adoption of family governance mechanisms

PurposeThis research is aimed to better understand what characteristics of family firms create a context in which family governance systems are more frequently adopted.Design/methodology/approachWe analyse a sample of 490 Spanish family businesses using cluster analysis, and we identify four different types of family businesses whose characteristics are associated to the adoption of different family governance systems, i.e. family councils and family protocols. Maģistra darba mērķis ir novērtēt ES kohēzijas politikas efektivitāti, identificēt būtiskākos faktorus, kas ietekmē to ietekmē un pielietot izstrādāto metodiku Latvijas reģioniem. Īpašs uzsvars likts uz faktoru, kas ietekmē ES kohēzijas politikas īstenošanas efektivitāti, noteikšanu. Pielietojot daudzfaktoru lineāro regresiju, kurā vidējais IKP uz vienu iedzīvotāju pieaugums ir indikators ekonomiskai attīstībai, tika konstatēts, ka būtiskākie efektivitāti ietekmējošie faktori ir pārvaldības kvalitāte, tai skaitā, korupcijas līmenis, un bezdarba līmenis. In several European countries decentralization has promoted the creation of Regional Governments (RGs) with high levels of competence and responsibilities, such as promoting good governance and sustainability. Information and communication technologies (ICTs), and hence, the adoption of e-government has contributed to the adoption and dissemination of government transparency in a usable and accessible way. In this chapter, we study the transparency, accessibility and usability of websites of Spanish RGs.
Local support for conservation is associated with perceptions of good governance, social impacts, and ecological effectiveness

Local support is important for the longevity of conservation initiatives. The literature suggests that perceptions of ecological effectiveness, social impacts, and good governance will influence levels of local support for conservation. This paper examines these relationships using data from a survey of small-scale fishermen in 11 marine protected areas from six countries in the Mediterranean Sea. The survey queried small-scale fishermen regarding perceptions and support for conservation.
