Dopo la parte teorica vengono analizzati dei dati rilevati durante un progetto di scrittura in lingua tedesca a livello universitaria. L'elaborazione dei trascritti e l'interpretazione avviene attraverso l'analisi della conversazione.

The work aims to investigate the main steps of a virtual reconstruction process of ancient statues, inspecting theoretical and technical approaches. Two fragmentary Roman statues from the "Sanctuary of Isis", inside the Archaeological Park of Lilibeo-Marsala (Italy), were chosen as a case study. Since viruses are about a thousand times smaller than their host cells, imaging virus-host interactions at high spatial resolution is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Our perceptions of events in the Mediterranean are strongly influenced by a range of visual practices that impact on both the emotional and the political. In this paper, I set out to critically explore the visual geographies underlying photographic images of contemporary migration flows across the Mediterranean Sea. I argue the need for a methodological shift from a content analysis approach to a critical investigation of the spatial interweaving of images, gazes and aesthetic regimes that governs both the production and reception of such photographs.
