Synergiaedun saavuttaminen : grounded theory -tutkimus opettajan ja toimintaterapeutin yhteistyön rakentumisesta perusopetuksessa

Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli mallintaa opettajan ja toimintaterapeutin monialaista yhteistyötä perusopetuksen kontekstissa. Monialaista yhteistyötä koulukontekstissa on tutkittu vähän, vaikka se on kouluissa yhä lisääntyvä ilmiö ja yksi keskeinen inkluusiota edistävä toimintatapa. Tutkimus toteutettiin aineistolähtöisellä Grounded Theory -tutkimusmenetelmällä. This paper explores the challenge of finding common ground between the Finns and the Chinese in the context of co-operation, trade and inward investment facilitation related to general lack of specific interest displayed by the Chinese. The article is ethnographic in nature and is mainly based on data obtained from interviewing individuals working for local governments in Finland and one of the state agencies responsible for attracting foreign investment. The cultivars of cool season Graminae species diffusely used to establish turfgrasses, are grown in northern areas of Europe. The aim of the research described in this paper was to identify the turfgrass species and cultivars most suitable for the Mediterranean environment. The trial was carried out in 1999 and 2000 at the experimental farm “Parco d’Orleans” belonging to the Department A.C.E.P. of University of Palermo. Applying Student Development Theories: Enhancing International Student Academic Success and Integration

Student development theories (SDT) focus on the growth and change occurring in students while attending higher education. In this article, we propose that the application of student development theories supports holistic development in international students and helps us understand international students’ academic success and integration. We outline a combination of student development models, derived from SDT, and interact them with concepts from international student mobility and migration (ISM). These models, when applied to student services, may assist higher education institutions (HEIs) in designing student services for international students enhancing academic success and integration.

Search for photons with energies above 1018 eV using the hybrid detector of the Pierre Auger Observatory

A search for ultra-high energy photons with energies above 1 EeV is performed using nine years of data collected by the Pierre Auger Observatory in hybrid operation mode. An unprecedented separation power between photon and hadron primaries is achieved by combining measurements of the longitudinal air-shower development with the particle content at ground measured by the fluorescence and surface detectors, respectively. Only three photon candidates at energies 1-2 EeV are found, which is compatible with the expected hadron-induced background. Nel Meridione d’Italia e in particolare in Sicilia detto compito era affidato alla “fossa della neve”.
