The study has three goals: (1) to explain how Castro-communism has formed, altered and impacted on Cuban literature; (2) to investigate how Gutiérrez's fiction corresponds to the Castro-communist utopia and ideals; and (3) how his parodic (anti)detective story Nuestro GG en La Habana (2004) is based on and relates to Cuban socialist detective stories, Graham Greene's spy farce Our Man in Havana, Castro-communist historiography and the social, ideological and economic shifts in Cuban society during the 1990s. Natural populations of Spodoptera exigua are infected by multiple viruses that are transmitted to their offspring

Sublethal infections by baculoviruses (Baculoviridae) are believed to be common in Lepidoptera, including Spodoptera exigua. In addition, novel RNA viruses of the family Iflaviridae have been recently identified in a laboratory population of S. exigua (S. exigua iflavirus-1: SeIV-1; S. exigua iflavirus-2: SeIV-2) that showed no overt signs of disease. We determined the prevalence of these viruses in wild populations and the prevalence of co-infection by the different viruses in shared hosts. D2 and H2 adsorption capacity and selectivity in CHA zeolites: Effect of Si/Al ratio, cationic composition and temperature

International audience; The work deals with the effect of composition of CHA zeolites on the adsorption and separation of H2 and D2 under cryogenic temperatures. In the first part of this work the effect of Si/Al ratio and cationic composition on single gas adsorption of H2 and D2 was studied at 77.4 K. It was found that the adsorption capacities increase with Al content up to Si/Al = 2.1. Unexpectedly, Na-CHA zeolite with the highest Al content (Si/Al = 1.1) adsorbs only negligible amount because of the collapse of the zeolite structure upon dehydration at 400°C. RESUMEN El presente trabajo tiene por objeto un estudio aproximativo de la atenuación fónica en 6 conversaciones coloquiales de dos zonas geográficas del español: Valencia (España) y La Habana (Cuba). De esta manera, en el estudio hemos determinado la importancia del factor fónico para la manifestación de la atenuación. A su vez, nuestro objetivo es analizar la función atenuante de las vacilaciones fónicas, bien acompañadas por elementos lingüísticos o bien por la importancia de un recurso prosódico. RESUMEN En este trabajo se ha llevado a cabo un análisis comparativo de la atenuación pragmática entre un corpus de conversaciones coloquiales del español de Valencia (España) y otro del español de La Habana (Cuba). The case-overload and the backlog crisis at the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) are well-known issues in Strasbourg, which risk to clog the Court’s activity to a point where they seri-ously threaten the effectiveness and expediency of the entire ECHR system. Mimo zaangażowania mediów w relacjonowanie całego zajścia samo zjawisko organizacji Asz-Szabab nie zostało wyczerpująco wyjaśnione. Autorzy artykułu podjęli więc próbę ukazania złożoności i stopnia skomplikowania całego zagadnienia.
