Tässä tutkielmassa kuvataan, mistä ja miten Aamulehti, Helsingin Sanomat ja Keskisuomalainen kirjoittivat vaalirahoitusta käsittelevissä pääkirjoituksissaan aikavälillä 7.5.2008–17.9.2010. Tutkielmassa kiinnitetään huomiota siihen, mitä aiheita lehdet vaalirahoituksen yhteydessä käsittelivät, keitä toimijoita lehdet nostivat esiin ja mihin lähteisiin nojaten lehdet kirjoittivat pääkirjoituksensa. Tutkielman pääasiallisena tutkimusmenetelmänä on käytetty määrällistä sisällön erittelyä, jonka avulla kirjoitukset on luokiteltu sisältöluokkiin aihe-, toimija- ja lähdeulottuvuuksien mukaan. Este trabajo aborda el análisis de los discursos de jóvenes que han tenido dificultades en su itinerario educativo y que han participado en “itinerarios de segunda oportunidad”. A partir de entrevistas a jóvenes, pretendemos aproximarnos a los argumentos desde los que dan sentido a sus itinerarios académicos y a las decisiones a las que se han enfrentado. Estos argumentos muestran fuertes implicaciones de la posición social de los actores, y están influidos por agentes de la institución educativa y familiar. En ese marco los jóvenes van configurando unas expectativas de futuro. Estas expectativas se debaten entre tres vías: salidas a espacios laborales poco cualificados y precarios, aunque …

New exotic beams from the SPIRAL 1 upgrade

Since 2001, the SPIRAL 1 facility has been one of the pioneering facilities in ISOL techniques for reaccelerating radioactive ion beams: the fragmentation of the heavy ion beams of GANIL on graphite targets and subsequent ionization in the Nanogan ECR ion source has permitted to deliver beams of gaseous elements (He, N, O, F, Ne, Ar, Kr) to numerous experiments. Thanks to the CIME cyclotron, energies up to 20 AMeV could be obtained. In 2014, the facility was stopped to undertake a major upgrade, with the aim to extend the production capabilities of SPIRAL 1 to a number of new elements. Abstract In searching for repetitions in a periodic polyalphabetic ciphertext, we usually find several true (causal) repetitions that give information about the period. But we also find some accidental repetitions at distances unrelated to the period which may mislead the cryptanalyst. A simple formula shows that these accidents are rather unlikely.

The investment model (2003) has been widely used in romantic relationship studies but rarely in an intercultural context. This study tests the investment model by examining Finnish-Chinese couples’ self-perceptions of commitment level and relationship maintenance behaviors. A qualitative research method with deductive thematic analysis approach is applied. This study finds that Finnish-Chinese couples have relatively high level of commitment. AbstractIn classical T Tauri stars (CTTS) strong shocks are formed where the accretion funnel impacts with the denser stellar chromosphere. Although current models of accretion provide a plausible global picture of this process, some fundamental aspects are still unclear: the observed X-ray luminosity in accretion shocks is order of magnitudes lower than predicted; the observed density and temperature structures of the hot post-shock region are puzzling and still unexplained by models.To address these issues we performed 2D MHD simulations describing an accretion stream impacting onto the chromosphere of a CTTS, exploring different configurations and strengths of the magnetic field. UV And X-Ray Emission from Impacts of Fragmented Accretion Streams on Classical T Tauri Stars

According to the magnetoshperic accretion scenario, during their evo- lution, Classical T Tauri stars accrete material from their circumstellar disk. The accretion process is regulated by the stellar magnetic eld and produces hot and dense post-shocks on the stellar surface as a result of impacts of the downfalling material. The impact regions are expected to strongly radiate in UV and X-rays. Several lines of evidence support the magnetospheric accretion scenario, especially in optical and infrared bands. Simultaneous production of furfural and levulinic acid from pine sawdust via acid-catalysed mechanical depolymerization and microwave irradiation

In this work pine sawdust was converted into levulinic acid (LA) and furfural. Sawdust was first pre-treated with sulfuric acid-catalysed mechanical depolymerization. The conversion reactions were then performed with microwave heating at 180 °C. To enhance the furfural yield and the efficient separation of furfural and LA, a biphasic water-toluene reaction system was used. The effect of an additional catalyst, AlCl3, on the yield of LA and furfural was also studied. According to the results the pre-treatment method enhanced the yields of LA.
