The reaction of 4-aminopyridine (4-AP) with ICl in a 1:1 molar ratio in CH2Cl2 produced the expected charge-transfer complex [4-NH2-1λ4-C5H4N-1-ICl] (1·ICl) and the ionic species [(4-NH2-1λ4-C5H4N)2-1μ-I+][Cl–] (2·Cl–) in a 2:1 relation, as indicated by 1H NMR spectroscopy in solution. In contrast, only the ionic compound [(4-NH2-1λ4-C5H4N)2-1μ-I+][IBr2–] (2·IBr2–) was observed in the analogous reaction with IBr. Halogen Bonds in Square Planar 2,5-Dihalopyridine-Copper(II) Bromide Complexes

Halogen bonding in self-complementary 1:2 metal–ligand complexes obtained from copper(II) bromide (CuBr2) and seven 2,5-dihalopyridines were analyzed using single-crystal X-ray diffraction. All presented discrete complexes form 1D polymeric chains connected with C–X···Br–Cu halogen bonds (XB). In (2-chloro-5-X-pyridine)2·CuBr2 (X = Cl, Br, and I) only the C5-halogen and in (2-bromo-5-X-pyridine)2·CuBr2 (X = Cl, Br, and I) both C2- and C5-halogens form C–X···Br–Cu halogen bonds with the X acting as the XB donor and copper-coordinated bromide as the XB acceptor. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on hankkia tietoa ammattiyhdistysliikkeen näkemyksestä yrityksen yhteiskuntavastuuseen. Tutkimus koostuu teoriatarkastelusta ja empiirisestä osasta. Varsinaisen teoriaviitekehyksen muodostavat uusi institutionalismi ja kansallinen liiketoimintajärjestelmäteoria. Lisäksi yrityksen yhteiskuntavastuuta tarkastellaan sidosryhmäajattelun ja yritysetiikan kontekstissa. Empiirinen tutkimusaineisto koostuu kymmenen henkilön haastatteluaineistosta. The Syntheses and Vibrational Spectra of 16O- and 18O-Enriched cis-MO2 (M=Mo, W) Complexes

In this contribution, we report convenient synthetic approaches for obtaining 16O/18O‐enriched dioxidometalVI complexes, MO2(L) (W, Mo), with a linear, tetradentate amine phenolate ligand N,N′‐dimethyl‐N,N′‐bis(2‐hydroxy‐3,5‐dimethylbenzyl)ethylenediamine (H2L) and describe their characterization by IR and Raman spectroscopy complemented by DFT computational analysis. Iodine(i) complexes incorporating sterically bulky 2-substituted pyridines

The silver(I) and iodine(I) complexes of the 2-substituted pyridines 2-(diphenylmethyl)pyridine (1) and 2-(1,1-diphenylethyl)pyridine (2), along with their potential protonated side products, were synthesised to investigate the steric limitations of iodine(I) complex formation. The complexes were characterised by 1H and 1H–15N HMBC NMR, X-ray crystallography, and DFT calculations. The solid-state structures for the silver(I) and iodine(I) complexes were extensively compared to the literature and analysed by DFT to examine the influence of the sterically bulky pyridines and their anions. peerReviewed
