Players can experience a sense of belonging to videogames and the transmedial worlds surrounding them. There nevertheless exist ongoing negotiations over who has the right to belong to these spaces. Multiple works addressing related issues have highlighted that white heterosexual men still maintain the position of power in the majority of game communities (e.g., Consalvo, 2012; Paul, 2018). This position can translate into an ease of belonging while others can find themselves struggling for the right to belong. Objectives: Odontogenic sinusitis usually affects the maxillary sinus but may extend to the anterior ethmoid sinuses. The purpose of this study is to determine the percentage of odontogenic maxillary sinusitis extended to the anterior ethmoid sinuses and determine also the surgical resolution differences between odontogenic maxillary sinusitis and odontogenic maxillary associated to anterior ethmoidal sinusitis. Study Design: This is a retrospective cohort study performed on 55 patients diagnosed of odontogenic sinusitis and treated surgically by functional endoscopic sinus surgery. Orbital complications of pediatric sinusitis: treatment of periorbital abscess.

Twenty-six children requiring surgical intervention for orbital complications of acute sinusitis were treated at our institutions between 1985 and 1995. Twenty patients were successfully treated surgically utilizing endoscopic/microscopic endonasal surgery, or traditional external ethmoidectomy. However, six patients failed to respond to initial surgical attempts and ultimately required a revision. In one of these six patients the development of an intracranial abscess also necessitated a craniotomy for surgical drainage.
