In previous studies we have demonstrated that two derivatives of meso-Tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphine (TPPS), (Bu2Sn)2TPPS and (Bu3Sn)4TPPS, cause apoptotic death of A375 melanoma cells and, at lower concentrations, arrest of cell proliferation. In the present study, we examined if the manganese metal inside the porphyrin cavity could improve the efficacy of this class of compounds. Thus, [meso- Tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphine]Mn(III)Cl (=MnTPPS) derivatives, namely (Me2Sn)2MnTPPS, (Bu2Sn)2MnTPPS, (Me3Sn)4MnTPPS and (Bu3Sn)4MnTPPS, were tested on the A375 human melanoma cell line. Symbolic dynamics in a binary asteroid system

We highlight the existence of a topological horseshoe arising from a a--priori stable model of the binary asteroid dynamics. The inspection is numerical and uses correctly aligned windows, as described in a recent paper by A. Gierzkiewicz and P. Zgliczy\'nski, combined with a recent analysis of an associated secular problem.

Influencée par les idées de Victor Schoelcher, elle ne les a cependant pas traduites dans leur intégralité. En effet, Schoelcher a combattu pour l’application du droit commun aux colonies. Si les affranchis des quatre vieilles colonies bénéficient de l’assimilation juridique, l’indigénat dans les autres colonies n’est pas remis en cause et toutes les colonies sont régies par le principe de la spécialité législative.

Membranous dysmenorrhoea is an uncommon condition characterized by the spontaneous flaking of endometrium into a single piece that maintains the shape of the uterus. The common symptom of membranous dysmenorrhoea is a colicky pain caused by uterine contractions. Because only a limited number of cases have been published in the literature, the case report we present is peculiar. This report describes a case of membranous dysmenorrhoea that occurred after an artificial frozen thawed embryo transfer cycle using vaginal progesterone. This dissertation deals with the meaning of the peacock and the phoenix within contexts of worship and funerary contexts in the Mediterranean area, between the IVth and the XIIth centuries. The study is based on an iconographic documentation meeting 490 items of the peacock and 68 items of the phoenix. These birds were imaged in various ways as well as coins, paintings of catacombs, sarcophagi, mosaics (pavements, domes, apses, …), manuscripts, and even chancel screens. The analysis of the documentation indicates that links were weaved between both birds associated with the idea of revival long before the IVth century. In acid-catalyzed reactions with 3-unsubstituted indoles 1, 2-alkoxy-1,3-dioxolanes 2a-c behave as acyl equivalents. Depending on the substitution patterns of the reaction partners, the 1,3-dioxolanium ions 3a-c, generated in situ from the cyclic ortho esters by the action of sulfosalicylic acid, react to form tris-(3-indolyl)alkanes 6 and 9, bis-(3-indolyl)ethenes 7, or 3-benzoylindoles 8. The intermolecular interactions in a hybrid electrolyte based on various compositions of the ionic liquid N-methyl-N-propyl pyrrolidinium bis-fluorosulfonylimide (C3mpyrFSI), LiFSI salt and an ether-based additive, 1,2-dimethoxy ethane (DME), have been investigated using the HOESY (Heteronuclear Overhauser Effect SpectroscopY) NMR experiment. The aim of this article is to recall and, at the same time, to update, the theory of the evolution of humanity by Josef Hoëné-Wronski. I am trying to show that the author of Metapolitics (Métapolitique messianique) and of other philosophical and mathematical works was much ahead of his contemporaries concerning his ideas about evolution and these ideas, although expressed in a somewhat archaic and obscure language, are still valid for us today. Hoëné-Wronski has boldly challenged the deterministic picture of the world emerging from modern science and has derived human evolution from the moral and rational development of human beings.
