Fyysisen aktiivisuuden vaikutukset aivojen toimintaan ja kognitiivisiin kykyihin ovat viime aikoina herättäneet kiinnostusta tutkijoiden keskuudessa. Näitä teemoja tutkii myös Active, Fit and Smart (AFIS) -tutkimushanke, jonka päämääränä on selvittää liikunnan yhteyksiä oppimiseen ja sen edellytyksiin elämän eri vaiheissa. Kasvisten, hedelmien ja marjojen syömisen lisääntyminen ryhmäohjauksessa

Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää Keski-Suomen alueella toteutettuun ryhmäohjaukseen osallistuneiden ryhmäläisten kasvisten syömistä 12 kuukauden aikana. Tavoitteena oli tutkia tuoreiden kasvisten, kypsennettyjen kasvisten sekä hedelmien ja marjojen käyttöä ja niiden syönnissä tapahtunutta muutosta. Lisäksi selvitettiin, miten sukupuoli, paino, painoindeksi, vyötärönympärys ja elämäntilanne ovat yhteydessä kasvisten syömiseen sekä miten yksilön aikomus muuttaa ruokakäyttäytymistä vaikuttaa itse muutoksen tekemiseen. Aim Biogeographical patterns in metacommunities are still poorly understood, and different processes are expected to occur in different habitats. We analysed the regional plant metacommunities of coastal habitats to test whether (1) the influence of space and climate differs between two habitats differentiated along the seashore–inland gradient, and (2) regional variation in species composition of these habitats can be ascribed to different metacommunity paradigms. The new "Vegetation map of Sicily (Italy)", recently published (Gianguzzi, Papini & Cusimano, 2015), shows also a synthetic overview of the distribution of European habitats in the territory; the study area has been extended to small islands circum-Sicilian (archipelago of the Aeolian; Aegadian, Pelagie Ustica and Pantelleria islands), for a total area of 25,703 km2. The 4th National Report ex Art. 17 of the 92/43/EEC Directive in Italy (period 2013-2018) will try to fill a number of gaps still affecting the former versions of the Italian Reports, where territorial data were still missing for large parts of the country and the assessment was mostly based on the use of the expert opinion. Similar inconsistencies also emerged in other European countries (State of nature in the EU, EEA 2015). In order to reach this aim, a nationally shared protocol for monitoring the vegetation-based Annex I Habitats is currently under development. Le projet d'aménagement a occasionné un diagnostic archéologique sur une surface avoisinant les 7 hectares. Au sein des 173 structures relevées au cours de cette opération, deux occupations se distinguent : une première datée des débuts du second âge du Fer (La Tène ancienne) et une seconde datée du IIe s. de notre ère. La plus ancienne a été identifiée par la présence de mobilier piègé dans des trous de poteau. Si la nature domestique de cette occupation est avérée, son extension sur l'emprise diagnostiquée reste problèmatique à définir.
