Let X; Y subset of R-2 be topologically equivalent bounded Lipschitz domains. We prove that weak and strong limits of homeomorphisms h: X (onto)-> Y in the Sobolev space W-1,W-p (X, R-2), p >= 2; are the same. DNA methylation (mC) and hydroxymethylation (hmC) can significantly affect the normal human development, as well as health and disease status. hmC studies require not only specific treatment of DNA, but also software tools for their analysis. However, there are no software tools capable of analyzing DNA hmC currently. In this article, we propose HPG-HMapper, a parallel software tool for analyzing the DNA hmC data obtained by ten-eleven translocation–assisted bisulfite sequencing. We report the draft genome sequence of the model moss Physcomitrella patens and compare its features with those of flowering plants, from which it is separated by more than 400 million years, and unicellular aquatic algae. This comparison reveals genomic changes concomitant with the evolutionary movement to land, including a general increase in gene family complexity; loss of genes associated with aquatic environments (e.g., flagellar arms); acquisition of genes for tolerating terrestrial stresses (e.g., variation in temperature and water availability); and the development of the auxin and abscisic acid signaling pathways for coordinating multicellular growth and dehydration response. Context. Until recently, camera networks designed for monitoring fireballs worldwide were not fully automated, implying that in case of a meteorite fall, the recovery campaign was rarely immediate. This was an important limiting factor as the most fragile - hence precious - meteorites must be recovered rapidly to avoid their alteration. Aims. The Fireball Recovery and InterPlanetary Observation Network (FRIPON) scientific project was designed to overcome this limitation. Industrial Environment Mapping Using Distributed Static 3D Sensor Nodes

This paper presents a system architecture for mapping and real-time monitoring of a relatively large industrial robotic environment of size 10 m × 15 m × 5 m. Six sensor nodes with embedded computing power and local processing of the 3D point clouds are placed close to the ceiling. The system architecture and data processing is based on the Robot Operating System (ROS) and the Point Cloud Library (PCL). The 3D sensors used are the Microsoft Kinect for Xbox One and point cloud data is collected at 20 Hz. A new manual calibration procedure is developed using reflective planes. The Belle II Pixel Detector Data Acquisition and Background Suppression System

The Belle II experiment at the future SuperKEKB collider in Tsukuba, Japan, features a design luminosity of 8 1035 cm−2s−1, which is a factor of 40 larger than that of its predecessor Belle. The pixel detector (PXD) with about 8 million pixels is based on the DEPFET technology and will improve the vertex resolution in beam direction by a factor of 2. With an estimated trigger rate of 30 kHz, the PXD is expected to generate a data rate of 20 GBytes/s, which is about 10 times larger than the amount of data generated by all other Belle II subdetectors. Reusability and modularity in transactional workflows

Abstract Workflow management techniques have become an intensive area of research in information systems. In large scale workflow systems modularity and reusability of existing task structures with context dependent (parameterized) task execution are essential components of a successful application. In this paper we study the issues related to management of modular transactional workflows, i.e., workflows that reuse component tasks and thus avoid redundancy in design. The notion of parameterized transactional properties of workflow tasks is introduced and analyzed, and the underlying architectural issues are discussed.
