Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) is a rare and disabling disease. Early diagnosis and appropriate therapy are essential. This update and revision of the global guideline for HAE provides up-to-date consensus recommendations for the management of HAE. In the development of this update and revision of the guideline, an international expert panel reviewed the existing evidence and developed 20 recommendations that were discussed, finalized and consented during the guideline consensus conference in June 2016 in Vienna. Comorbidity between depressive symptoms and migraine: preliminary data from the Zabút Aging Project

We evaluated the association between depressive symptoms and migraine using cross-sectional data from the Zabút Aging Project, a population-based study including subjects agedor =50 years. A total of 1285 nonmigraineurs and 151 migraineurs were included. Diagnosis of migraine was carried out using the criteria of the International Headache Society. The Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale (CES-D) was used to score depressive symptoms. Depressive symptoms were clustered in four groups: depressed and positive affects, somatic activity and intrapersonal feelings. The aim of this study was to determine how the guidelines published after this conference have spread. Pretherapeutic evaluation and treatment were assessed for all colon cancers diagnosed in a well-defined French population in 2000. Patients were classified either as managed according to the recommendations, or as undermanaged or overmanaged. Outside the emergency context, pretherapeutic work-up was classified as in conformity with the consensus in 48.0% of the cases, as undervalued in 21.9% and as overvalued in 30.1%. Objective. We examined the effectiveness of preventive interventions against occupational injuries (preferential action plans [PAPs]) developed by Spanish regional governments starting in 2000. Methods. We included 3,252,028 occupational injuries with sick leave due to mechanical causes occurring between 1994 and 2004 in manufacturing and private service companies.
