Gli arcivescovi di Palermo nel corso dei secoli hanno costantemente espresso un’aulica committenza di arte sacra, molto spesso particolarmente onerosa e prestigiosa per i materiali, i modelli e gli artefici scelti. Si tratta di suppellettili metalliche, manoscritti o libri a stampa su pergamena e carta, parati realizzati in tessuto operato o ricamato, plasticazioni in stucco e arredi sacri in pietre dure, dipinti, insegne vescovili in uso nella cappella privata o nella cattedrale. Artykuł stanowi próbę zaprezentowania postaci Jana Karola Chodkiewicza z linii supraskiej (1686–1712), syna starosty błudeńskiego i oboźnego wielkiego litewskiego Jerzego Karola Chodkiewicza oraz Marianny Tekli z Naruszewiczów, który do tej pory nie doczekał się żadnego szerszego opracowania naukowego. Podstawę źródłową szkicu biograficznego Chodkiewicza stanowią materiały przechowywane w Archiwum Narodowym w Krakowie, w zespole Archiwum Młynowskie Chodkiewiczów. Różnorodność znajdujących się w nim dokumentów pozwoliła na możliwie jak najdokładniejsze odtworzenie jego życiorysu. Bakalaura darba „Heraldiskās simbolikas attīstība Latvijas teritorijā, 13.-16.gs.” uzdevums ir apkopot galveno heraldiskās simbolikas avotu grupu – sfragistisko un numismātisko avotu – piemērus, ar mērķi atspoguļot heraldiskās simbolikas attīstību Latvijas teritorijā no Rietumu kultūras ienākšanas brīža līdz Livonijas pastāvēšanas beigām. Darba struktūru veido četras nodaļas, kurās atspoguļota heraldikas attīstība, lietošanas principi. Pirmā nodaļa veltīta procesiem, kuru rezultātā reģionā ienāk heraldika, bet pārējās trīs nodaļas iedalītas atbilstoši avotu grupām – sfragistika, numismātika, un avoti, kas nav ierindojami šajās avotu grupās.

Maģistra darba „Heraldiskās simbolikas attīstība Livonijā, 13.-16.gs.” mērķis ir apkopot un analizēt galveno heraldiskās simbolikas avotu grupu – sfragistisko un numismātisko avotu – piemērus, ar mērķi atspoguļot heraldiskās simbolikas attīstību Livonijā no Rietumu kultūras ienākšanas brīža līdz pat Livonijas pastāvēšanas beigām. Darba struktūru veido četras nodaļas, kurās atspoguļota heraldikas attīstība, lietošanas principi. Pirmā nodaļa veltīta heraldikas attīstībai un procesiem, kuru rezultātā Livonijā ienāk heraldika, bet pārējās trīs nodaļas iedalītas atbilstoši avotu grupām – sfragistika, numismātika, un citi avoti, kuros sastopami ģerboņu atveidojumi.

Clinical translation of computational models of the heart has been hampered by the absence of complete and rigorous technical and clinical validation, as well as benchmarking of the developed tools. To address this issue, a dataset containing the cardiac anatomy and fibre orientations from magnetic resonance images (MRI), as well as epicardial transmembrane potentials from optical mapping acquired on ex-vivo porcine hearts, have previously been made available to the community. It is essential to combine genealogical and collective biographical approaches with network analysis if one wants to take full advantage of the evidence provided by (hereditary) personal names in historical and linguistic onomastic research. The naming practices of rural families and clans from the 18th to the 20th century can bring us much fresh information about their enduring attitudes and values, as well as about other mentalities of everyday life. Personal names were cultural symbols that contained socially shared meanings. Resumen: Escritura y heráldica se convierten en un lenguaje fundamental al servicio institucional y personal de los Borja, que desde Italia llegará también a su ciudad de origen y a sus señoríos. En Xàtiva y Gandía respectivamente se conservan las primeras inscripciones humanísticas que podemos ubicar en territorio valenciano.
