Celem artykułu jest określenie zmian struktury oraz tempa wzrostu produkcji żywca rzeźnego w województwach Polski w latach 2004–2014 według gatunków, z zastosowaniem klasycznej metody przesunięć udziałów. Ponadto zidentyfikowano i oszacowano udział czynników strukturalnych oraz regionalnych w wielkości efektu globalnego (produkcji żywca rzeźnego w Polsce ogółem) w przekroju województw. Na podstawie wyników badań wykazano, że zróżnicowanie tempa zmian produkcji żywca rzeźnego związane jest przede wszystkim z pozycją konkurencyjną regionu, a w mniejszym stopniu zależne od zmian struktury produkcji

The biological importance of microtubules in mitosis and cell division makes them an interesting target for the development of anticancer agents. Small molecules such as benzo[b]furans are attractive as inhibitors of tubulin polymerization. Thus, a new class of inhibitors of tubulin polymerization based on the 2-(3′,4′,5′-trimethoxybenzoyl)-benzo[b]furan molecular skeleton, with electron-donating (Me, OMe or OH) or electron-withdrawing (F, Cl and Br) substituents on the benzene ring, was synthesized and evaluated for antiproliferative activity, inhibition of tubulin polymerization and cell cycle effects. Radiation-engineered poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidone) nanogels are very interesting biocompatible nanocarriers for i.v. administration of therapeutics and contrast agents for bioimaging among other applications. Nanogels are usually produced upon irradiation of dilute aqueous polymer solutions. Under these conditions, the polymer radicals formed primarily react via intramolecular radical-radical combination forming intramolecular crosslinks. Author's version of a chapter in the book: L. Kelley (Ed.), Entrepreneurial women : new management and leadership models. The paper identifies commonalities and differences between women and men in terms of eleven key factors’ impact on the formation of entrepreneurial intentions (EIs) among Norwegian students. The analysis is based on a sample of 1,782 Norwegian students from a variety of faculties and degree programs. A path analysis methodological approach is used, while being based on multiple regressions so as to gradually refine model complexities. Bakalaura darbs „Latvijas hiphop subkultūra kā identitāti konstruējošs elements” tapis, lai izpētītu, kā Latvijas hiphopa subkultūrai piederošie mūziķi saista savu identitāti ar Latvijas hiphopa subkulturālo identitāti. Pētījuma gaitā tika izvēlēti vairāki identitāti konstruējoši elementi – mūzika, apģērbs, dzimtes lomas un valoda. Izmantojot kvalitatīvu datu ieguves veidu – daļēji strukturētas intervijas, tika noskaidroti septiņu hiphopa subkultūras mākslinieku – reperu – uzskati par viņu piederību subkultūrai un reperim vēlamām praksēm un nepieciešamiem identitāti konstruējošiem elementiem.
