In this article, we propose to sketch some working hypotheses around the problem of the use of television series in the teaching of the FLE, addressing in an interdisciplinary way the possible fields of exploitation of contemporary cinema. We will focus most of our observations on the use of cultural stereotypes and intercultural communication, considering their expanded exploitation and illustration in the American television series Emily in Paris (2020). The issue of personal and cultural identity will also be explored from the perspectives of new media usage.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this article is to analyze two Spanish documentary films that reflect on the 2008 financial crisis in Spain, Mercado de futuros (Mercedes Alvarez, 2011) and No estamos solos (Pere Joan Ventura, 2015). These movies could be marked as political for their choice of a collective protagonist and for dealing with the issues of inequality with the purpose of appealing to mobilization and resistance to the neoliberal Western agenda that have provoked social cutbacks after the 2008 crisis. AbstractWe trace the evolution of two causal conjunctions of temporal origin in Catalan,pus (que)‘since’ (laterpuix (que)), which ultimately derives from Latinpost‘after,’ andja que‘since,’ ultimately fromiam‘already.’ We focus on the different causal meanings that these connectors may express at different stages. The analysis of our Catalan corpus, which spans from the 13th to the 20th century, reveals a clear diachronic tendency for clauses headed by these conjunctions to be increasingly more frequently placed after the main clause. Este trabajo pretende reconstruir la impugnacion que el polemista suizo Karl-Ludwig von Haller realizo a la Carta Magna gaditana de 1812 en su libro Analisis de la Constitucion Espanola (1823). Ademas, se estudia la segunda parte del escrito donde desenmascaro los planes de la conspiracion universal jacobina y los medios para efectuar una verdadera “restauracion”. Todo ello cotejando las dos traducciones al castellano de 1823 que demuestran la pluralidad del temprano antiliberalismo. L’histoire des emotions a connu depuis une dizaine d’annees un developpement spectaculaire, avec des resultats inegaux. Cet article s’efforce de rendre compte des principales directions dans lesquelles cette histoire s’est engagee, et d’en proposer un premier bilan critique. Cela suppose au prealable de mettre au jour les tensions, souvent implicites, auxquelles elle se heurte, engendrant de nombreux debats.
