Counting Zeros of Holomorphic Functions

2019

In this chapter we will generalize Proposition 3.4.6 of Hager about counting the zeros of holomorphic functions of exponential growth. In Hager and Sjostrand (Math Ann 342(1):177–243, 2008. http://arxiv.org/abs/math/0601381) we obtained such a generalization, by weakening the regularity assumptions on the functions ϕ. However, due to some logarithmic losses, we were not quite able to recover Hager’s original result, and we still had a fixed domain Γ with smooth boundary.

Group-symmetric holomorphic functions on a Banach space

2016

We study the holomorphic functions on a complex Banach space E that are invariant under the action of a given group of operators on E. A great variety of situations occur depending, of course, on the group and the space. Nevertheless, in the examples we deal with, they can be described in terms of a few natural ones and functions of a finite number of variables. Fil: Aron, Richard. The structure of Fedosov supermanifolds

2009

Abstract Given a supermanifold ( M , A ) which carries a supersymplectic form ω , we study the Fedosov structures that can be defined on it, through a set of tensor fields associated to any symplectic connection ∇ . We give explicit recursive expressions for the resulting curvature and study the particular case of a base manifold M with constant holomorphic sectional curvature.

Global 1-Forms and Vector Fields

2014

In this chapter we recall some fundamental facts concerning holomorphic 1-forms on compact surfaces: Albanese morphism, Castelnuovo–de Franchis Lemma, Bogomolov Lemma. We also discuss the logarithmic case, which is extremely useful in the study of foliations with an invariant curve. Finally we recall the classification of holomorphic vector fields on compact surfaces. All of this is very classical and can be found, for instance, in [2, Chapter IV] and 24, 35].

Holomorphic mappings of bounded type

1992

Abstract For a Banach space E, we prove that the Frechet space H b(E) is the strong dual of an (LB)-space, B b(E), which leads to a linearization of the holomorphic mappings of bounded type. It is also shown that the holomorphic functions defined on (DFC)-spaces are of uniformly bounded type.

Königs eigenfunction for composition operators on Bloch and H∞ type spaces

2017

Abstract We discuss when the Konigs eigenfunction associated with a non-automorphic selfmap of the complex unit disc that fixes the origin belongs to Banach spaces of holomorphic functions of Bloch and H ∞ type. In the latter case, our characterization answers a question of P. Bourdon. Some spectral properties of composition operators on H ∞ for unbounded Konigs eigenfunction are obtained.

Infinite Dimensional Holomorphy

2019

We give an introduction to vector-valued holomorphic functions in Banach spaces, defined through Frechet differentiability. Every function defined on a Reinhardt domain of a finite-dimensional Banach space is analytic, i.e. can be represented by a monomial series expansion, where the family of coefficients is given through a Cauchy integral formula. Every separate holomorphic (holomorphic on each variable) function is holomorphic. This is Hartogs’ theorem, which is proved using Leja’s polynomial lemma. For infinite-dimensional spaces, homogeneous polynomials are defined as the diagonal of multilinear mappings. A function is holomorphic if and only if it is Gâteaux holomorphic and continuous…

Kodaira dimension of holomorphic singular foliations

2000

We introduce numerical invariants of holomorphic singular foliations under bimeromorphic transformations of surfaces. The basic invariant is a foliated version of the Kodaira dimension of compact complex manifolds.

Holomorphic Functions on Polydiscs

2019

This is a short introduction to the theory of holomorphic functions in finitely and infinitely many variables. We begin with functions in finitely many variables, giving the definition of holomorphic function. Every such function has a monomial series expansion, where the coefficients are given by a Cauchy integral formula. Then we move to infinitely many variables, considering functions defined on B_{c0}, the open unit ball of the space of null sequences. Holomorphic functions are defined by means of Frechet differentiability. We have versions of Weierstrass and Montel theorems in this setting. Every holomorphic function on B_{c0} defines a family of coefficients through a Cauchy integral …

Nonradial Hormander algebras of several variables and convolution operators

2001

A characterization of the closed principal ideals in nonradial Hormander algebras of holomorphic functions of several variables in terms of the behaviour of the generator is obtained. This result is applied to study the range of convolution operators and ultradifferential operators on spaces of quasianalytic functions of Beurling type. Contrary to what is known to happen in the case of non-quasianalytic functions, an ultradistribution on a space of quasianalytic functions is constructed such that the range of the operator does not contain the real analytic functions. Let u, v : R → R be continuous, non-negative and even functions which are increasing on the positive real numbers. We assume …
