Innovation practices in cultural organisations: Implications for innovation policy

This paper explores the innovation practices in a distinctive and vital part of the growing tourism industry, that of cultural organisations. These organisations have received limited attention from previous in-depth qualitative research on innovation practices. The investigation in this paper is based on in-depth interviews with key-employees in 27 cultural organisations. The findings suggest that the innovation practices when cultural organisations carry out incremental and liminal innovation activities differ from the practices used during more radical innovation activities. The public health emergency caused by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in a significant reallocation of health resources with a consequent reorganization of the clinical activities also in several urological centers. A panel of Italian urologists has agreed on a set of recommendations on pathways of pre-, intra- and post-operative care for urological patients undergoing urgent procedures or non-deferrable oncological interventions during the COVID-19 pandemic. [Impact of job satisfaction on nursing turnover: a mixed method study].

OBIETTIVO: Descrivere la soddisfazione lavorativa (job satisfaction) ed esplorare le motivazioni della richiesta di turnover da parte degli infermieri clinici. METODO: Studio mixed-method condotto presso un’Azienda Ospedaliera di Roma Hub di II livello, su un campionamento di convenienza al personale infermieristico in servizio nelle seguenti tre aree cliniche: medica, chirurgica e d’urgenza/emergenza. RISULTATI: Il campione di 133 infermieri risulta avere una buona job satisfaction (60,9%). Il 21% si ritiene insoddisfatto e il 18% è incerto sul grado di soddisfazione. Among these, the three most important have been concerned with medical insurance, hospital administration, and pharmaceutical policies.
