Zbiór muzykaliów z kaplicy szpitalnej w Bystrzycy Kłodzkiej
2017
Dostarcza jednak cennych informacji o repertuarze muzycznym kaplicy szpitalnej. W zbiorze muzykaliów zwraca uwagę obecność kompozytorów kościelnych przełomu XIX i XX wieku (w tym twórców śląskich), niejednokrotnie …

This is an Open Access article under the CC BY 4.0 licenseBackground: Early death after cancer surgery is higher in low-income and middle-income countries (LMICs) compared with in high-income countries, yet the impact of facility characteristics on early postoperative outcomes is unknown. The aim of this study was to examine the association between hospital infrastructure, resource availability, and processes on early outcomes after cancer surgery worldwide. Methods: A multimethods analysis was performed as part of the GlobalSurg 3 study—a multicentre, international, prospective cohort study of patients who had surgery for breast, colorectal,…
The migration–tourism nexus in the EU28
2020
This study explores the nexus between tourism and migration on an intra-European scale over the period 2000–2015. Complex-network analysis and gravity models were the investigation methods preferred. For each year under study, we built two country-to-country networks to map and reveal the connections between states as shaped by migration stocks and tourism flows, respectively. Then, the main determinants of the correlation patterns between the two networks were investigated by several econometric analysis. Results point to a quite similar topological structure for the tourism and migration networks as well as to a significant and reciprocal direct influence between tourism and migration mo…
Examining the impact of visa restrictions on international tourist flows using panel data: Un análisis con datos de panel
2016
Using newly panel data on visa restrictions for the years 2000 and 2010 in a theory-grounded gravity model, we find a robust, causal negative impact of visa restrictions on international tourist flows. By destination, the detrimental impact of this type of barrier is observed for tourists going to developing countries (with the exception of East and South Asia), but not for those to developed ones. By country of origin of tourists, the impact of visa restrictions appears to be the same for tourists coming from developed and developing countries. These findings have important consequences in policy terms for tourism management at a regional level.
Green inclusive leadership and green creativity in the tourism and hospitality sector: serial mediation of green psychological climate and work engag…
2021
Green creativity contributes to green innovation and green sustainability in both the manufacturing and services sectors. However, academic research offering more nuanced insights about the drivers of green creativity (GCRT) is deficient, particularly within the tourism and hospitality sector. The present study thus theorized a model based on the Componential Theory of Creativity (CTC) to examine green inclusive leadership (GIL), green psychological climate (GPC), and green work engagement (GWE) as antecedents of GCRT. The model not only posits the direct associations but also accommodates a more complex interaction of variables by anticipating the mediation effect of GPC and GWE on the ass…
Standards for the diagnosis and management of complex regional pain syndrome: Results of a European Pain Federation task force.
2019
Background: Complex regional pain syndrome is a painful and disabling post-traumatic primary pain disorder. Acute and chronic complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) are major clinical challenges. In Europe, progress is hampered by significant heterogeneity in clinical practice. We sought to establish standards for the diagnosis and management of CRPS. Methods: The European Pain Federation established a pan-European task force of experts in CRPS who followed a four-stage consensus challenge process to produce mandatory quality standards worded as grammatically imperative (must-do) statements. Results: We developed 17 standards in 8 areas of care. There are 2 standards in diagnosis, 1 in multi…
