Amazon became the world R&D leader in 2017 by rapidly increasing R&D investment. Its R&D investment in 2017 was double that of 2015, 5 times that of 2012, and 10 times that of 2011. This rapid increase continued in 2018, and Amazon accomplished a skyrocketing increase in its market capitalization, closing to being the world's biggest company. The methods of simultaneous and successive color matching have been studied for a set of seven color reference samples by 15 protanomalous and 21 deuteranomalous trichromat subjects. From comparison between both populations and a group of 25 trichromat normal ones, investigated previously under similar experimental conditions [J. Perez–Carpinell et al. Representation and estimation of spectral reflectances using projection on PCA and wavelet bases

In this article, we deal with the problem of spectral reflectance function representation and estimation in the context of multispectral imaging. Because the reconstruction of such functions is an inverse problem, slight variations in input data completely skew the expected results. Therefore, stabilizing the reconstruction process is necessary. To do this, we propose to use wavelets as basis functions, and we compare those with Fourier and PCA bases. The article analyzes the training needs of managers belonging to public and private companies in the Region of Sicily, Italy, using focus groups. Fifty-two managers took part in the research—32 executives and 20 employees with intermediate positions in collaboration with senior management. This is a qualitative research with explorative purposes whose approach is part of the symbolic interactionism paradigm. Data analysis, supported by the Atlas.ti software, has permitted the coding of the meanings underlying the text of the narratives and identifying four “code families” as key themes of the observed reality.
