Cada día es mayor el número de persona, profesionales o no, que piden una reflexión abierta en la cuestión de las drogas y su legislación. Se entiende que el denominado "problema de las drogas" esta cargado no sólo de contradicciones, de tópicos y de intereses ocultos sino también de injusticias, exclusiones y sufrimientos de todo tipo. Estamos tan preocupados por la sustancia, que olvidamos los derechos más elementales de las personas implicadas en su consumo y su producción.

This work addresses the way in which Argentine Fat Activism has developed, in recent years, the demand for depathologization of fatness, taking elements from critical discourses on the health of fat people to frame them in a perspective typical of the Human Rights. First, the contemporary fat body is described in terms of stigma and discrimination, especially in the health field. Background This research presents a short version of the Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL) scale, one of the most frequently used questionnaires in the arena of applied healthcare investigation. It measures burnout (BO), compassion fatigue (CF), and compassion satisfaction (CS). Methods A 9-item version of the ProQOL was developed. In Study 1, this short version, which used items from version IV of the ProQOL, was administered to 817 palliative care professionals from Spain, Argentina, and Brazil. Objective To study genotype–phenotype correlation of ring chromosome 18 [r(18)] in 9 patients with 46,XN karyotype. Study design In 9 patients with a de novo 46,XN,r(18) karyotype (7 females, 2 males), we performed high-resolution single-nucleotide polymorphism array analysis (Illumina Human Omni1-QuadV1 array in 6 patients, Affymetrix 6.0 array in 3 patients), investigation of parental origin, and genotype–phenotype correlation. Results No breakpoint was recurrent. AbstractOBJECTIVEThe aim of this study was to develop the Italian version of the Spanish Burnout Inventory (SBI) and to examine its psychometric properties within a sample of nursing staff.METHODThe study was cross-sectional and not randomized. The data were gathered using an anonymous, self-report questionnaire. The sample consisted of 391 staff nurses employed in three hospitals in the Northern Region of Italy To evaluate burnout, the SBI and the Maslach Burnout Inventory were administered.RESULTSAn Exploratory Factor Analysis showed a four-factor structure close to the expected one.
