The title compound, C24H22N2O2P2, contains a diphosphazane backbone, as well as a hydrazine entity. The P—N—P diphosphazane unit and the N-amine N atom are almost coplanar, and the O atoms of the Ph2P(O) units are oriented trans to each other with respect to the P...P axis. In the crystal, centrosymmetrically related molecules are linked into dimers by pairs of N—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming rings of graph-set motif R22(10).
Possibility of using NiCO2O4 alloy as catalyst for fuel electrode of hydrazine fuel cell

The work presents a possibility of the use of NiCo2O4 alloys as catalysts for electrooxidation of hydrazine. The research was done by the method of polarizing cuvers of electrooxidation of hydrazine in glass vessel in aqueous solution of KOH, on electrode with NiCo2O4 alloy as a catalyst. Conducted measurements show that there is a possibility of electrooxidation of hydrazine on NiCo2O4 electrode. The current density is low, but the price of the catalyst is much lower than platinum.

Szerokie stosowanie ogniw paliwowych ograniczone jest głównie wykorzystywaniem drogich katalizatorów. Wyeliminowanie platyny umożliwiłoby szeroką komercjalizację tych ogniw. Artykuł przedstawia analizę elektroutleniania hydrazyny na katalizatorze NiCo2O4. Jako elektrolit wykorzystano wodny roztwór KOH. Pomiarów dokonano potencjostatem. Wykazano możliwość elektroutleniania hydrazyny na katalizatorze NiCo2O4. W każdym przypadku (dla wszystkich stężeń hydrazyny i udziałów Co) proces elektroutleniania zachodził. Synthesis of pyrazole-4-carbohydrazide derivatives of pharmaceutical interest

New 1-phenylor 1-methyl-5-benzamidopyrazole-4-carbohydrazide derivatives were prepared in 70–90% yields from 1-methylor 1-phenyl-6-phenylpyrazolo[3,4-d]1,3-oxazin-4(1H)-one derivatives and hydrazine hydrate. Small quantities of the isomeric 5-aminopyrazole-4-(Nbenzoyl)hydrazides were detected in some reaction mixtures, proving that intramolecular benzoyl migration can take place in the 5-benzamidopyrazole-4-carbohydrazide molecule. The direct formation of pyrazole-4-carbohydrazides from 5-benzamidopyrazole-4-carboxylic acid ethyl esters and hydrazine hydrate was unsuccessful.
The effect of nacom (L-dopa and L-carbidopa) on growth hormone secretion in 75 patients with short stature.

The stimulatory effect of Nacom (250 mg L-Dopa and 25 mg L-Carbidopa) on the HGH secretion was evaluated in 75 short stature patients. The number of blood samples was restricted to only three (0, 45 and 90 min). 63 patients reached adequate HGH concentrations after the ingestion of 1 tablet Nacom (84%). Somatotropin levels increased from 2.08 (Sx 0.28) to a maximal HGH value of 14.22 (Sx 0.87) ng/ml. When the stimulatory effect of Nacom was compared with the standard method of arginine infusion in children with normal stature the arginine test was not superior to the Nacom-test. Synthesis of Amino-1,2,4-triazoles by Reductive ANRORC Rearrangements of 1,2,4-Oxadiazoles

The reaction of various 1,2,4-oxadiazoles with an excess of hydrazine in DMF has been investigated. 3-Amino- 1,2,4-triazoles are produced through a reductive ANRORC pathway consisting of the addition of hydrazine to the 1,2,4-oxadiazole followed by ring-opening, ring-closure, and final reduction of the 3-hydroxylamino-1,2,4-triazole intermediate. The general applicability of 1,2,4-oxadiazoles ANRORC reactivity is demonstrated also in the absence of C(5)-linked electron-withdrawing groups.

A FRET-based random screening assay was used to generate hit compounds as sortase A inhibitors that allowed us to identify ethyl 3-oxo-2-(2-phenylhydrazinylidene)butanoate as an example of a new class of sortase A inhibitors. Other analogues were generated by changing the ethoxycarbonyl function for a carboxy, cyano or amide group, or introducing substituents in the phenyl ring of the ester and acid derivatives. The most active derivative found was 3-oxo-2-(2-(3,4dichlorophenyl)hydrazinylidene)butanoic acid (2b), showing an IC50 value of 50 µM.
