Miega higiēna pusaudžiem Latvijā

Mērķis: Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izvērtēt miega higiēnas paradumus Latvijas pusaudžu vidū un analizēt faktorus, kas ietekmē jauniešu miega higiēnu. Izmantotās metodes: Piecās Latvijas skolās tika veikts iedzīvotāju šķērsgriezuma pētījums. Pusaudžiem tika lūgts aizpildīt anketu par miega higiēnas indeksu (SHI), un tā parametri tika novērtēti attiecībā uz svara procentīli, vecumu, dzimumu un miega kvalitātes pašnovērtējumu. Statistikā analīze tika veikta, izmantojot SPSS programmatūru ar būtiskuma slieksni p < 0.05. The effects of antimicrobial sprays and mouthrinses on supragingival plaque regrowth: a comparative study.

BACKGROUND: Due to the side effects of chlorhexidine digluconate (CHX) mouthrinsing, a spray has been proposed as an alternative method of CHX delivery to the oral cavity. The aim of this study was to investigate the plaque inhibitory effects of CHX, cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC), and triclosan (TRN) delivered by sprays and mouthrinses. METHODS: The study was an observer-masked, randomized cross-over design balanced for carryover effects, involving 15 healthy volunteers in a 4-day plaque regrowth model. Factorial Validity of the "Spanish Burnout Inventory" (SBI) in a Sample of Mexican Doctors

El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar la validez factorial del Cuestionario para la Evaluación del Síndrome de Quemarse por el Trabajo (CESQT). Se hipotetizó un modelo de cuatro factores. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 110 médicos del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social. El instrumento está formado por 20 ítems distribuidos en 4 subescalas: Ilusión por el trabajo (5 ítems), Desgaste psíquico (4 ítems), Indolencia (6 ítems), y Culpa (5 ítems). El modelo presentó un ajuste adecuado: GFI = .83, RMSEA = .061, NNFI = .90, CFI = .92, PNFI = .65. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan sitä, miten nukkumista ohjeistettiin 1800-luvun lopun ja 1900-luvun alkukymmenten suomalaisessa terveysvalistuksessa ja mitä hyvän unen avulla tavoiteltiin. Artikkelissa kysytään myös, ketkä nukkumisohjeita laativat, kenelle ne oli suunnattu ja millaisesta ajattelutavasta ne kumpusivat. Unihygienia eli nukkumiseen ja liittyvät ohjeistukset olivat osa kansainvälistä hygienialiikettä, joka oli vahvimmillaan juuri 1800-luvun loppupuolella. Evolution of nurses' social representation of hospital hygiene: From training to practice

Nurses' social representations of hospital hygiene were analyzed. A cross-sectional method was used to compare and analyze the social representations of the concept domain of "hospital hygiene" across three independent groups of participants (N=744). The groups included: (a) professional nurses (N=114); (b) student nurses (N=315); and (c) psychology students (N=315). Comparisons were drawn: (a) between professionals and students; and (b) between student nurse cohorts at three different levels (years) of training.
