Vascular Risk Factors in Mild Cognitive Impairment Subtypes

<i>Background and Aim:</i> To investigate the role of vascular risk factors in different subtypes of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in a multicentric, clinic-based, cross-sectional study. <i>Methods:</i> Two-hundred and seven subjects with MCI were included in the study: 33 with single non-memory MCI (snmMCI), 42 with multiple-domain amnestic MCI (mdMCI-a) and 132 with amnestic MCI (aMCI). AbstractCompared to the extensive amount of literature on various themes of W.V.O. Quine’s philosophy, his immanent concept of truth remains a relatively unexplored topic. This relative lack of research contributes to a persistent confusion on the deflationary and inflationary details of Quine’s truth. According to a popular reading, Quine’s disquotational definition of the truth predicate exhausts the topic of truth, thus amounting to a deflationary view. Others promote opposing interpretations. Tutkimus keskittyy kartoittamaan Suomen suurimpien kuntien ympäristöraporteissa käytettyjä legitimointistrategioita. Tarkoituksena on selvittää minkälaisia legitimointistrategioita kunnat käyttävät raporteissaan, onko strategioiden käytössä tapahtunut muutoksia ja onko strategioiden käytössä kuntakohtaisia eroja. Aineistona toimivat Helsingin, Espoon, Tampereen, Vantaan ja Oulun ympäristönhallintaan liittyvät raportit vuosilta 2006–2013. Water pollution caused by organic micropollutants further aggravates the problem, by rendering an already scarce resource unfit for human consumption. The existing conventional wastewater treatment methods and infrastructure were not designed to eliminate micropollutants.
