Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan kognitiivisen tietojenkäsittelyn teknologiaa ja kuinka sen käyttöönotto terveydenhuollon eri osa-alueilla vaikuttaa palveluihin ja prosesseihin. Kognitiivisen teknologian merkitystä terveydenhuollossa kartoitetaan sote-uudistuksessa asetettujen tavoitteiden kautta ja siihen yhdistetään ennakoivan terveydenhuollon näkökulma. Fibre bonds play an essential role in various properties of paper. Much research has focused on their strength, but the determination of the actual contact area also provides a challenge. Many of the research methods rely on optical tools, which are restricted by the wavelength of light that is utilised. Novel X-ray computed tomography devices utilise X-rays in studying the inner structure of materials, and surpass the optical methods in terms of resolution, allowing detection of even smaller details and variations in distance between the fibres in the bond intersection area. Abstract. The Temple of Olympian Zeus in Agrigento (Italy) was one of the largest temple and at the same time one of the most original of all the Greek architecture. We don’t know exactly how it was because the temple is now almost completely destroyed but it is very well-known for the presence of the Telamons. The Telamons were giant statues (about 8 meters high) probably located outside the temple to fill the interval between the columns. In accordance with the theory most accredited by archaeologists the Telamons were a decorative element and also a support for the structure. Hypertrehalosaemic hormones stimulate trehalogenesis while inhibiting glycolysis in cockroach fat body. Signal transduction of the hypertrehalosaemic peptide Bld HrTH was examined in isolated fat body of the Argentine cockroach Blaptica dubia with respect to its effects on the increase in trehalose production and decrease in the content of the glycolytic activator fructose 2,6-bisphosphate in the tissue. Cyclic AMP does not seem to be involved in these processes as the cAMP analogue cpt-cAMP and the phosphodiesterase inhibitor IBMX, which both permeate cell membranes, had no effect on either parameter. The resting efflux of choline into the perfusate (Tyrode's solution) of isolated hearts was equal to the rate, at which choline was liberated from phospholipid degradation (Lindmar et al. 1986). Infusion of isoprenaline (2 X 10(-7) mol/l), forskolin (1-3 X 10(-6) mol/l) or 3-isobutyl-1-methylxanthine (IBMX; 3 X 10(-4) mol/l) for 40 min markedly enhanced the efflux of choline. The increase was linear during the experimental period and, in the case of isoprenaline, was blocked by 3 X 10(-7) mol/l atenolol. In this study, experiments carried out to clear up this contradiction demonstrated that IBMX, besides its effect on cAMP, also increased cGMP concentrations in blowfly ovary and that these two cyclic nucleotides controlled ovarian steroidogenesis antagonistically.
