In such therapies, groups can be either constituted around one problem or goal common to all the clients, or the group can work as a place in which clients can learn from one another and share experiences whether their individual problems are similar or not. Dopo una premessa storico-teorica si esamina la non-fiction in base alle forme e ai generi adoperati in questa categoria di scrittura, dopo di che si procede a un'analisi di temi e costanti concettuali condotta attraverso una lettura per campioni di testi degli ultimi trent'anni. Una breve considerazione su potenzialità e limiti discorsivi, commerciali, comunicativi della non-fiction italiana e straniera chiude il libro.

Smoothed score confidence interval for the breakpoint in segmented regression

For the breakpoint parameter in segmented regression we consider confidence intervals based on the score statistic. Due to unsmoothness of the score, we propose to build the confidence intervals using its smoothed version under proper shape restrictions. Some simulations are presented to assess the finite sample performance of the proposed approach.
Associations between Teacher- and Student-directed Sexual and Physical Violence in Physical Education

This study examined relationships between teachers’ perceptions of verbal and non-verbal sexual harassment and physical violence against teachers and among students in physical education (PE). Participants were 175 (females 122, males 53) Finnish PE teachers between 27 and 62 years (M = 44.8 ± 9.2 years). The cross-sectional data were collected by an anonymous online survey in the fall semester 2018. The first essay examines how people react to social networking services (SNS).
