The valorization of side streams from fishery and aquaculture value-chains is a valuable solution to address one of the challenges of the circular economy: turning wastes into profit. Side streams produced after filleting of sea cage fattened bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) were analyzed for proximate composition and fatty acid profile to evaluate the possibility of producing tuna oil (TO) as a valuable source of ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and testing its bioactivity in vitro. Pārejas jeb premenopauzes laikā ķermenis sāk savādāk izmantot enerģiju. Samazinās sieviešu hormona estrogēna ražošana, kas ir iesaistīts ļoti daudzos dažādos procesos. Daudzām sievietēm šis vecuma intervāls saistīts ar nopietnu veselības problēmu parādīšanos. Sirreālisms kino nozarē ienācis jau pēc Pirmā pasaules kara. Sirreālistu kustība gan vairs nav aktuāla, taču kino jomā sirreālisma aspekti ir sastopami vēl mūsdienās. Viens no mūsdienu kino režisoriem, kurš savā darbībā ietver sirreālisma elementus, ir Deivids Linčs. In questa memoria si presenta una sintesi delle attività condotte nell'ambito del progetto SERPICO ("Sviluppo E Realizzazione di Prototipi di Inverter per impianti fotovoltaici a Concentrazione", PO-FESR Sicilia 2007-2013, Misura 4.1.1.2). Il progetto ha riguardato lo sviluppo di un prototipo di impianto fotovoltaico-termico a concentrazione e del relativo sistema di monitoraggio e controllo. Tale sistema permette di acquisire le quantità sia elettriche che termiche. Inoltre esso implementa un algoritmo per l'inseguimento solare utilizzato per ottimizzare la produzione di potenza.

AbstractAdvising and mentoring Ph.D. students is an increasingly important aspect of the academic profession. We define and interpret a family of metrics (collectively referred to as “a-indices”) that can potentially be applied to “ranking academic advisors” using the academic genealogical records of scientists, with the emphasis on taking into account not only the number of students advised by an individual, but also subsequent academic advising records of those students.
