Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on selvittää sitä, miten ja missä määrin suomea äidinkielenään puhuvat tutkimuksen osallistujat ymmärtävät vironkielistä kirjoitettua tekstiä. Lähtökielen vaikutusta kielenoppimiseen on tutkittu paljon, mutta lisätietoa kaivataan kuitenkin siitä, miten vastaavuuksista voidaan hyötyä ilman systemaattista opetusta ja kokemusta kohdekielestä. Tutkielman tutkimuskysymykset käsittelevät sitä, mitkä tekijät edistävät tai toisaalta estävät vironkielisen tekstin ymmärtämistä. Tutkimuksessa selvitellään myös osallistujien käyttämiä ymmärtämisen strategioita sekä sitä, missä määrin vironkielistä tekstiä ymmärrettiin. During lytic herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) infection, the expansion of the viral replication compartments leads to an enrichment of the host chromatin in the peripheral nucleoplasm. We have shown previously that HSV-1 infection induces the formation of channels through the compacted peripheral chromatin. Here, we used three-dimensional confocal and expansion microscopy, soft X-ray tomography, electron microscopy, and random walk simulations to analyze the kinetics of host chromatin redistribution and capsid localization relative to their egress site at the nuclear envelope. Publisher Copyright: © 2023 The Authors River lampreys (Lampetra fluviatilis) were caught in the fall 2014 on entering the River Perhonjoki for spawning and kept at a hatchery until spawning in late spring 2015 to produce larvae for compensatory stockings. Since the lampreys died massively from early February onwards, they were investigated in March and May to clarify the cause of the deaths. The symptoms in lampreys resembled those of lipid-related thiamine (vitamin B1) deficiency of salmonines, called the M74 syndrome in the Baltic Sea area. This paper explores the processes, strategies, and methods used when preparing an expressive vocal performance from the point-of-view of the artist. The study tracked the development and performance preparation of 13 university students studying classical voice performance or music education. Participants were asked to choose one unfamiliar piece from their repertoire and complete three surveys administered at the beginning, middle, and end of their study term.
