My dissertation deals with the most important female figures of the Finnish national epic New Kalevala (1849): Aino, Louhi, Lemminkäinen’s mother and Marjatta. The epic was compiled by Elias Lönnrot (1802–1884) from Karelian and Finnish oral folklore. My reading leans on the intuitive night side of knowledge, which Lönnrot (1832) introduced as a counterpart to the day side of rational knowledge. To illustrate the logic of the night side of knowledge, I analyse Lönnrot as both a collector of oral folklore and a compiler of a work of epic poetry. In this research we investigate whether quarterly earnings announcements are informative using awide sample of firms listed in the Spanish Stock Market (SIBE). We study the period comprised between thethird quarterly of 2002 and the fourth quarterly of 2003. We analyse whether abnormal returns are related tothe quarter in which the announcement is released, whether the announcement implies good or bad news forthe firm, the source of the information, the size of the firm and whether the firm is followed by analysts.Results show that quarterly earnings announcements are informative. Maģistra darba mērķis bija apkopot līdz šim zināmo informāciju par laimes izjūtas konstruktu un realizēt eksperimentālu pētījumu, lai noskaidrotu, vai pēc dalības 4 nedēļu ilgā pētījumā būs vērojamas statistiski nozīmīgas izmaiņas laimes izjūtas rādītājos starp eksperimentālo un abām kontroles grupām, kā arī starp pirmo un otro mērījumu katras grupas ietvaros. Pētījumā piedalījās 158 sākumskolas skolēni (eksperimentālā grupa n = 53; kontroles grupa nr. 1 n = 55; kontroles grupa nr. 2 n = 50) vecumā no 7 – 10 gadiem. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija apkopot šobrīd zināmās laimes izjūtu paaugstinošās stratēģijas un realizēt eksperimentālu pētījumu, lai noskaidrotu vai pēc dalības 4 nedēļu ilgā laimes izjūtu paaugstinošu stratēģiju intervencē būs vērojama laimes izjūtas līmeņa paaugstināšanās. Pētījumā piedalījās 145 respondenti (kontroles grupa n=75, eksperimentālā grupa n=70) vecumā no 18 līdz 74 gadiem. Eksperimentālās grupas dalībnieki 4 nedēļu garumā realizēja laimes izjūtu paaugstinošās stratēģijas. Abās grupās tika veikti subjektīvās laimes izjūtas mērījumi pirms un pēc dalības pētījumā. L'articolo analizza il teatro di narrazione italiano, approfondendo in particolare i casi di Marco Baliani e Ascanio Celestini, alla luce del peculiare rapporto tra diegesi e mimesi che caratterizza questo genere spettacolare. L'intento è dimostrare come entrambi i procedimenti siano sempre attivi in questo teatro, pur in diverse proporzioni, e come il procedimento mimetico vi si attui con modalità specifiche, riconducibili alla sineddoche e alla metonimia, diverse o contrapposte rispetto alla mimesi del tradizionale teatro drammatico, basato sulla "piena" imitazione del personaggio.

Aim: Both previous versions of the German PRC algorithm developed by our group for routine first-trimester screening relied on the assumption that maternal blood sampling and fetal ultrasonography are performed at the same visit of a pregnant women. The subject of coordination is fundamental for the functioning of jurisdictional rules of the Regulation n.2016/1103 on matrimonial property regimes and Regulation n.2016/1104 on the property consequences of registered partnerships.
