When salivary gland function goes below 50%, patients show oral mucosal dryness and consequent problems on speaking and eating. They present oral health impairment. ABSTRACT Aichi virus has been proposed as a causative agent of gastroenteritis. A total of 457 stool specimens from children hospitalized with acute diarrhea and 566 stool specimens from adults and children involved in 110 gastroenteritis outbreaks were screened for the presence of Aichi virus by reverse transcription-PCR (RT-PCR) amplification of the genomic region of the 3C and 3D (3CD) nonstructural proteins. Our results show a low incidence of Aichi virus in pediatric samples and the existence of mixed infections with other microbiological agents in some cases. A coincidence-point problem of Perov type on rectangular cone metric spaces

We consider a coincidence-point problem in the setting of rectangular cone metric spaces. Using alpha-admissible mappings and following Perov's approach, we establish some existence and uniqueness results for two self-mappings. Under a compatibility assumption, we also solve a common fixed-point problem.
Geometric interpretation of the optimality conditions in multifacility location and applications

Geometrical optimality conditions are developed for the minisum multifacility location problem involving any norm. These conditions are then used to derive sufficient conditions for coincidence of facilities at optimality; an example is given to show that these coincidence conditions seem difficult to generalize.
