La Self-Efficacy dell’insegnante per l’inclusione

2020

THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF FUTURE TEACHERS

2021

In Latvia, inclusive education is relevant as seen in the past several decades, during which time society has developed a more comprehensive understanding of and made significant progress towards implementing inclusive education. The current study aimed at identifying the visions of prospective teachers (already working in schools) concerning inclusive education. To explore the experiences of future te…

Teachers’ Knowledge Regarding Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): A Systematic Review

2021

The increasing number of students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in mainstream education environments require teachers to know how to identify their needs, being capable to adapt their education processes and make their inclusion easier. The purpose of this study is to conduct a systematic review about teachers’ knowledge of ASD, including teachers from any stage and specialization. The research has been conducted from four databases (Web of Science, Scopus, PsycInfo and Google Scholar) during the period of 2015–2020. In total, 25 articles were analyzed. The results show that, in general, teachers’ knowledge of ASD is poor. It depends on the education stage (being higher in early child…

Inclusive education for pupils with disabilities in France : what do teachers say ?

2019

International audience; Inclusive education implies changes and upheavals in both the teaching practices and the school organization as a whole. Inclusive education implies a paradigm shift where the conditions for success are based on the ability of the school to adapt to the diversity of the public it serves (Dyson et al., 1999, Plaisance et al., 2007). Therefore the current situation leads us to reflect on the arrangements defined and put in place to accommodate and support pupils with disabilities in their schooling in France (since the 2005 law). The aim of the research is to evaluate the quality of school devices. Our research concerns a population of 68 French teachers.
