Modular Approach to 9-Monosubstituted Fluorene Derivatives Using Mo(V) Reagents.

Oxidative coupling using molybdenum(V) reagents provides fast access to highly functionalized 9-monosubstituted fluorenes. This synthetic approach is highly modular, is high yielding, and tolerates a variety of labile moieties, e.g. amides or iodo groups. The established protocol leads to promising precursors for pharmacologically important analogues of melatonin.

Artykuł zawiera analizę porównawczą poziomu rozwoju trzech polskich województw: dolnośląskiego, opolskiego i śląskiego. Za pomocą opracowanego miernika rozwoju regionalnego, autor analizuje cztery główne komponenty rozwoju – gospodarka, konkurencyjność i innowacje, kapitał ludzki, kapitał społeczny i jakość życia. New Indicators of Approximation Errors for Problems in Continuum Mechanics

In this paper we present a new error indicator for approximate solutions of elliptic problems. We discuss error indication with the paradigm of the diffusion problem, however the techniques are easily adaptable to more complicated elliptic problems, for example to linear elasticity, viscous flow models and electromagnetic models. The role of indicators in assisting tourism planners and decision-makers in evaluating performances, setting targets and anticipating future scenarios has been widely acknowledged by scholars. The purpose of this study is to provide an evaluation of existing composite indicators of tourism destination competitiveness (TDC) and propose a statistical toolbox/protocol to assess their effectiveness in empirical evaluations. We built the study’s protocol by enriching the OECD technical guidelines to build composite indicators.
