Determinants of silent and explicit industrial design

This paper investigates the relationship between the use of silent or explicit design (SD or ED) and the characteristics of firms or sectors that use each of these types of design in Argentina. The findings show that SD differs from ED and that the differences have important implications for the creation of policies to support competitiveness as well as for the development of business strategies. Effect of Chitin Whiskers on the Molecular Dynamics of Carrageenan-Based Nanocomposites

[EN] Films of carrageenan (KC) and glycerol (g) with different contents of chitin nanowhiskers (CHW) were prepared by a solution casting process. The molecular dynamics of pure carrageenan (KC), carrageenan/glycerol (KCg) and KCg with different quantities of CHWs as a filler was studied using dielectric relaxation spectroscopy. The analysis of the CHW effect on the molecular mobility at the glass transition, T-g, indicates that non-attractive intermolecular interactions between KCg and CHW occur. Metal–organic framework (MOF)-driven synthesis is considered as a promising alternative for the development of new catalytic materials with well-designed active sites. This synthetic approach is used here to gradually transform a new bimetallic MOF, with Pd and Fe as the metal components, by the in situ generation of aniline under mild conditions. This methodology results in a compositionally homogeneous nanocomposite formed by Fe-doped Pd nanoparticles that, in turn, are supported on iron oxide-doped carbon. [ES] Se presenta una reflexión teórico-práctica sobre experiencias docentes metodológicas y de aprendizaje en el Grado en Trabajo Social de la Universitat de València basadas en las teorías del aprendizaje significativo de Ausebel, del aprendizaje social de Bandura o Vigosky y las propuestas de intervención Social de Ander-Egg y De Robertis, comunidades de aprendizaje, Aprendizaje Servicio e Investigación-Acción Participativa. En las conclusiones se presentan algunas implicaciones para la docencia universitaria y para futuras investigaciones.

En este sentido, se muestra la relación que existe entre innovaciones y crecimiento económico, como objetivo esencial actual de la política económica para reducir el desempleo y aumentar el bienestar social. Para llevar a cabo este análisis nos basamos en el modelo de Schumpeter, en el que el empresario-emprendedor y el clima social desempeñan un papel relevante en el proceso.
