Maisterintutkielmassani tarkastelen, kuinka äitiys- ja vauva-aiheiseen internetin keskusteluketjuun kirjoittavat arvottavat tekstejään sekä millaisia äitiyteen ja äitiyskeskusteluun liittyviä representaatioita ja diskursseja teksteissä syntyy. Aineistonani on Suomi24.fi-keskustelupalstan nuorten äitien vauvakuume-aiheinen keskusteluketju, jota analysoin kriittisen diskurssianalyysin keinoin. Tässä tutkimuksessa olen tarkastellut sitä, millaisia identiteettejä humanisteille rakentuu kahdessa www.suomi24.fi-verkkosivuston keskustelufoorumin keskusteluketjussa. Aihe on yhä ajankohtainen ja merkittävä, sillä vuoden 2010 yliopistolakiuudistus ja vuoden 2008 lama eivät mielestäni voi olla vaikuttamatta siihen, miten humanistit kokevat merkityksensä akateemisessa ympäristössä tai työmarkkinoilla. A Probabilistic Approach to the Count-To-Infinity Problem in Distance-Vector Routing Algorithms

Count-to-infinity problem is characteristic for routing algorithms based on the distributed implementation of the classical Bellman-Ford algorithm. In this paper a probabilistic solution to this problem is proposed. It is argued that by the use of a Bloom Filter added to the routing message the routing loops will with high probability not form. An experimental analysis of this solution for use in Wireless Sensor Networks in practice is also included.

Abstract Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD), describes the abuse of Internet games with detrimental impact to the real-life social engagement of some gamers. Indeed, evidence suggests that gamers differ on the severity and way in which they express IGD symptoms, as well as their social engagement behaviours. The present study aimed to: a) profile gamers regarding their experience of IGD symptoms and; b) examine how different IGD profiles varied on social engagement behaviours. Building Ontologies from XML Data Sources

In this paper, we present a tool called X2OWL that aims at building an OWL ontology from an XML datasource. This method is based on XML schema to automatically generate the ontology structure, as well as, a set of mapping bridges. The presented method also includes a refinement step that allows to clean the mapping bridges and possibly to restructure the generated ontology.
