New rotational levels in $^{186}$Re nucleus

2020

International audience; Excited levels of 186 Re have been studied using results of the single γ -ray spectra measurements following the thermal neutron capture reaction. Energies and intensities of more than 500 γ -transitions have been obtained with the high-resolution crystal diffraction spectrometer GAMS5 of ILL. Most of the obtained intense γ -transitions have been placed in the 186 Re level scheme. A number of new levels, as well as the depopulation for levels observed earlier in the 187 Re (p,d)186 Re reaction measurements have been proposed. Structure of 186 Re levels is interpreted in terms of two-quasiparticle plus rotor coupling model and compared with that of the neighbouring do…

Experimental demonstration of hyperbolic patterns.

2008

We give experimental evidence of hyperbolic patterns in a nonlinear optical resonator. Such transverse patterns are a new kind of 2D dissipative structures, characterized by a distribution of the active modes along hyperbolas in the transverse wave-vector domain, in contrast with the usual (elliptic) patterns where the active modes distribute along rings. The hyperbolic character is realized by manipulating diffraction inside the optical resonator with cylindrical lenses. We also investigate theoretically hyperbolic patterns in corresponding Swift-Hohenberg models.

Educar jugando y dialogando. Derechos de la infancia, intencionalidad, familia y lenguaje

2019

[EN] The article reviews the rights that contribute to the achievement of a happy life from childhood and seizes on the key elements that seek dignity in order to develop happiness. First, the role of the family in setting up personal identity and security, and in establishing personal relationships. Second, the integral personal training and the education in the development of the critical sense and freedom for responsible exercise, as well as the ability to understand, express and communicate to improve or overcome problematic situations. Finally, gambling, as a basic tool of enjoyment in childhood, and, at the same time, learning in the two previous domains, sometimes unique complement o…

Synthesis and comparison of the antiinflammatory activity of manoalide and cacospongionolide B analogues.

1998

We have synthesized analogues of two naturally occurring antiinflammatory marine compounds, manoalide and cacospongionolide B, containing a pyranofuranone moiety which is considered the pharmacophoric group. The two compounds, and hence their analogues, differ in the presence or absence in the dihydropyran ring of an hemiacetal function which was considered essential to irreversibly inactivate phospholipase A 2 (PLA 2 ). The two series of compounds were tested for their inhibitory effects on secretory PLA 2 belonging to the groups I, II, and III, and the activities were found to be similar in both series, irrespective of the presence or absence of the additional hemiacetal function. In addi…

Development and validation of the team learning questionnaire

2008

Nowadays the organizational scenario is changing in several aspects that affect organization commitment. Team learning construct has emerged as a tool to deal with these changes and the dynamic nature of this situation. Although team learning has acquired importance in recent years, instruments to measure team learning should be developed. The aim of this paper is to develop and validate a team learning scale, the Team Learning Questionnaire, attending to four dimensions of team learning: Continued Improvement Seeking, Dialogue Promotion and Open Communication, Collaborative Learning, and Strategic and Proactive Leadership that Promote Learning. Results provide evidence of the reliability a…

Acyl-Chain Mismatch Driven Superlattice Arrangements in DPPC/DLPC/Cholesterol Bilayers

2010

Fluorescence and infrared spectroscopy and cholesterol oxidase activity were employed to investigate the effect of phosphatidylcholine (PC) acyl chain length mismatch on the lateral organizations of lipids in liquid-ordered dipalmitoyl-PC/dilauroyl-PC/cholesterol (DPPC/DLPC/CHOL) bilayers. Plots of steady-state fluorescence emission anisotropy of diphenylhexatriene (DPH) labeled PC (DPH-PC) embedded in the DPPC/DLPC/CHOL bilayers revealed significant peaks at several DPPC mole fractions (Y(DPPC)) when the cholesterol mole fraction (X(CHOL)) was fixed to particular values. Analogously, the DPH-PC anisotropy peaked at several critical X(CHOL)'s when Y(DPPC) was fixed. Acyl chain C-H and C hor…

2D shape relaxation dynamics in amphiphile monolayers

2007

The shape relaxation dynamics of the droplets in amphiphile monolayers is studied in Darcy approximation. It is shown by numerical experiments that relaxation from the highly extended dumbbell configurations can be described by simple physical model according to which the dissipation is concentrated on circular tips. By numerical simulation it is illustrated that longrange dipolar interactions lead to the stabilization of the shape relaxation process with respect to the formation of a narrow neck causing the rupture of the droplet when dipolar forces are absent. Effect of the dipolar forces on the shape-relaxation process can be accounted by the slope of the relaxation curve at small deviat…

Microscopic theory for the light-induced anomalous Hall effect in graphene

2019

We employ a quantum Liouville equation with relaxation to model the recently observed anomalous Hall effect in graphene irradiated by an ultrafast pulse of circularly polarized light. In the weak-field regime, we demonstrate that the Hall effect originates from an asymmetric population of photocarriers in the Dirac bands. By contrast, in the strong-field regime, the system is driven into a non-equilibrium steady state that is well-described by topologically non-trivial Floquet-Bloch bands. Here, the anomalous Hall current originates from the combination of a population imbalance in these dressed bands together with a smaller anomalous velocity contribution arising from their Berry curvature…
